OC progress - antagonist

Trying to come up with an interesting backstory for the antagonist OC of my fic. He is based on a character briefly mentioned in one of the old Yoda books. Boz Addle, a non force sensitive human engineer who worked in the Jedi temple hangar.

Obviously I saw him as a perfect candidate to be a victim or Barriss' temple attack. Being in physical therapy at the time of Order 66, he narrowly avoided the emperors wrath and was forgotten about. Until that is, when the inquisitorious were stretched thin during the early years of the Empire and needed additional Jedi Hunters. Revenge is motivation enough for Boz Addle

Fictional escape

So, as the UK has been through 3 seperated lockdowns, ranging from 1 month to 100 days, I've been trying to cope by delving deep into star wars lore. From there, I've been slowly trying to write a story about characters that the movies and shows have forgotten or long thought dead.

I know my writing style isn't the best, but I'm enjoying it. There are so many stories where I believe that Canon and Legends can coexist. For months, I've wanted the big bad of the story to be something far more terrifying and far more sinister than the Sith, so I went for the long forgotten Yuuzhan Vong. And the characters who I want to save the galaxy from them are those with unknown fates.

Two characters in particular, have a shot at redemption. Barriss Offee and clone Sergeant Slick. Two characters who've done wrong when they believed they were in the right, two people when given enough time, could reflect on their actions and perhaps, given the opportunity, search for a way to make things right.

Sorry, I was just ranting. I don't talk about my hobby at home or with friends, it just feels nice to talk about something I enjoy for once.
