Never shame yourself into diet and exercise, if you’re going to do it, do it the right way. Little steps first, bigger steps will come. Be proud of every achievement, don’t be angry if you slip up and remember, even if you’re aiming to lose weight for whatever reason, it’s okay to indulge once in a while.

This is great. How you look in the mirror is not the be all and end all. Feeling good without the mirror because you have worked hard and taking breaks when you want to take breaks is all important.

I can finally do "something"! Start at 0:30 once a day and building to 2:00 3-5 times a day - front plank - side plank - leg raise - other side plank - superman - superman spread Did it once today and it was OK. Felt strong for first :20 seconds but definitely have a lot of work to do!
Spinal Decompression seems like a torture device
Aggravation - Week 3
This is the start of week 3 since I slipped a disc or two in my back (l4/l5 or both). We didn't do the MRI to confirm because it would cost a buttload and wouldn't change the tx protocol. Thought I was getting a lot better but the last few days have been pretty rough. I've been so good about not pushing it so that I can get back faster but this halt to my progression and being unable to do anything is killing me. Hopefully Doc will give me some legitimate exercises that I can do today instead of just stretching.
One of the most common (and most annoying) things that I do is apologize for EVERYTHING! I need to stop being sorry for existing and have confidence in my awesomeness. Sorry I'm not sorry.
