Disclaimer: This fairly long and it does from season to season out of order sometimes, my mind went from one thing to the next, but I think I tied it up right. It’s always fun to theorize a new episode could come and completely change all this, but you can’t deny the shadiness.
I was watching the dark knight on TV earlier which coincidentally the 7A finale is called The DArkest Knight. So I started thinking of correlations they could use. The dark knight is Batman, not a villain he takes the fall and blame for the white knight’s (Harvey Dent) crimes, and then BAM lightbulb.
For those who aren’t familiar with Batman. Harvey Dent is a lawyer and mayor candidate. Bruce (Batman) sees him as a person who can be Gotham’s hero without a mask. Alas, you either die as a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain. The joker takes Harvey’s/Batman’s love interest Rachel and Harvey himself and gives Batman a choice, Rachel or Harvey. Rachel dies. Harvey escapes but with permanent facial disfigurement, that and his prior career in internal affairs earned him the nickname Harvey two face. Harvey lost without Rachel, falls prey to the joker’s quest for turning good people into amoral monsters, Batman takes the blame for his actions protecting Harvey’s good name.
Back to Aria, ^^^ this alone can give you a good reason to believe those Aria is A theories. WTF would Aria need a fence. This was in season 5 (the dollhouse season).
Aria’s behavior in the dollhouse has caused a lot of theories that she was behind this.
In the opening scene Hanna is telling the girls why they’re separating them from Alison.Hanna tells them they (the prison,lawyers) think the girls are conspiring with Ali to do something big. Spencer makes a reference to red riding hood , 3 little pigs, Aria says are we the little pigs or little red? Both have meaning, pigs of course Pigtunia, and little red. Mona had a little red riding hood thing going on in 6x09 ,6x10 and Redcoat, of course. Others have noticed a brunette doll with a redcoat at a episode in Radley.
Same opening scene Hanna tells them they treat you like a criminal, hard to remember you’re not one. Aria makes a guilty lip bite. Aria has said before my face does things without checking with me ( hint at mpd?)
When Aria wakes up in the dollhouse unlike the others who’s first instinct is to call out the others, their parents. I thought it was very interesting Aria’s first instinct is to go to a stack of books. There have been great hints Aria is the conductor of all this and is writing a book. Maybe Aria forgets where she is and first instinct is to see if someone has her book/journal.
Aria is either the first to wake up or the last one the camera goes too. Maybe like the start and end of a chapter. Except the scene where we see the girls in their rooms at the dollhouse EXCEPT Aria. Very interesting.
A picked the girls prom committee job. Picked Hanna for food and beverage at a dig to Hanna being formerly overweight. Aria gets music. In fact she walks right to it, as if she already knows.

Aria in this episode is trying desperately to get her brother from becoming a witness in Mona’s murder trial. I always thought it was odd Aria didn’t want Mike to testify he said himself he could help Hanna and Ali who wouldn’t that for a friend.
Mike: You want me to lie?
Aria: No, I want to you to have three answers, Yes, No and I don’t remember.
Next Scene: Aria and Mike receive a cow tongue, Aria says this is a warning not to testify, her mom walks in and stares at Aria, her facial expressions are very interesting she doesn’t meet her mom’s eyes and then gives a slight smirk.
You can’t see the whole thing but it says Tres, Tres, Tres, french for the number 3, (3 answers). The # 3 is very popular in pll

Since Byron is in this and Aria is wearing a mouth on her shirt like Bowser jr lets throw a fun theory out there that Byron is A and Aria is helping. I do think the jr part is really interesting hinting Aria is helping a parent, someone older, or jr as in 2nd in command.

Spencer, Aria, and Emily see Veronica talking to Ali’s lawyers. Spencer tells them she’s helping their cases. Aria’s voice is really interesting she’s very inquisitive and almost angry asking Spencer why her mom is involved, what she’s helping them with, Emily says deciding who gets to testify, and then you see Aria looking nervous.
Aria, Hanna and Spencer are talking about Holbrook saying he couldn’t of done the things they thought he did.
Hanna: We’ve been barking up the wrong henchmen

in the A ending scene of this we see A go to Mona’s room and A takes something. Not a coincidence that the camera pointed to about 5 different dolls before taking something.
The A equation spells out Wren ( in my mind he’s AD)

She’s supposed to look like Holly Golightly. The main character from the film Breakfast at Tiffany’s. The film made a a reference in season 4 finale Ali said Ezra told her he was her Holly Golightly.
Aria hires her mom for an hr to obtain attorney/client privilege. Were assumed to think she’s asking for her brother, but since you have privilege why not tell her mom. The fact she’s not saying whom she’s talking about is I think a way of her trying to ask about her.
Veronica: Was this person directly involved?
Aria? No, but they had important information that could’ve helped the police.
Veronica: and they withheld it?
Aria: Yes, could they get jail-time?
Aria: What if someone got killed.
Veronica: They’re in a lot of trouble.
Next Scene. The girls are saying goodbye to Spencer before she leaves for London. Hanna tells Spencer to tell her mom about A. Emily agrees. Aria doesn’t for fear of her brother getting dragged into court and fear of A. It’s easy to assume all this worry is for her brother, but it’s funner to assume it’s because she doesn’t want lawyers to investigate A.
Aria is with Andrew she missed her tutoring session. Very interesting convo.
1. Andrew makes two Russian references. Anna Karenina, and cold war. Aria’s affiliation to Russia to me are the dolls.
2. Andrew invites Aria on a date to see the film All The President’s Men it’s about two reporters who cover the story about a scandal. With the help of a contact named by Deep Throat played by Hal HOLBROOK.

Another ATPM reference is that the reporters and contacts communicated via newspaper. Ali and Mona did it in 5x13 we learn Ali and Varjak did.

and after Aria leaves to go to her car Eddie asks her what she’s looking for? She doesn’t answer. Eddie calls Ezra. He was going to meet Ezra. He never showed. Eddie has had conversations with Spencer before they worked in their favor and A didn’t interfere before, but one day with Aria and he’s gone.
Also, Aria was repping her love of leopard in this, England reference.
Speaking of Wren him and Eddie were not friends. Wren confessed to Spencer he issued Cece (Charlotte/Charles) visitor passes to Radley so she could be a role model to Mona. Interesting considering Cece said she was already in Radley when Mona showed up.
Wren didn’t like Eddie giving Spencer clues. He gave Mona and Spencer a board game that had all of Radley’s exits.
My theory is that Aria called Wren and told him he seen her before and Wren knowing of Eddie’s helpfulness gets rid of him.

In 6B they changed the opening sequence to let all the girls do the shhh scene. Why did Aria do it for the first 5 seasons?
People have noticed in season 7 Aria was very inquisitive asking Hanna questions , and her convo with Elliot and the girls was weird too a lot of eye contact with Aria.
They didn’t make Elliot who we now know as Archer Dunhill (A.D) British for kicks, Mona says she hears someone with a British or Aussie accent. We later learn from Mary that she hasn’t talked to Elliot in two days, Jordan is so not a part of this, it’s Wren.
I’ve also noticed we’ve never seen anyone from Bethany’s family, she’s been such a big character since s5 we know she’s been linked to the liars since THAT NIGHT. According to Charlotte she was going to get Jessica for having an affair with her father, but in 5 x13 Hanna sees a letter from Bethany to Alison can’t wait to see you.
We’ve met Sara’s friends, saw Shana’s family via internet. We’ve only seen Bethany as a child though , the motive of Charlotte being A was so weak. I didn’t like how happy you were Ali was gone, you didn’t listen to me, the game was addictive. BLAHHHHHH. The Uber A is doing this for revenge.
My theory is Wren is Bethany’s brother Young is a very popular last name in England.

How would Aria and Wren know each other? Best guess cousins. Wren’s father is Aria’s uncle. Those 45 minutes in the pilot we didn’t know where she was, was probably with Wren. Don’t let those A messages fool you Mona was sending them to herself when she was A.
