Heaven is Pink Candy Floss?

Today, I met this very happy old man. He told me about seven years ago, he was a drunk. He drank himself to death, but only stayed dead for ten minutes until a miracle happened, and he was alive again. They were able to save his life. He said life before he died was all a blur, a 30 year blur to be exact. He was a miserable alcoholic. But his life changed forever, when he experienced heaven. He told me that heaven was not what he expected. His idea of heaven was him and a bunch of beautiful red head women on the beach. Heaven turned out to be nothing like that. He said heaven was just warm. He described it as freshly spun, warm, pink candyfloss. He was just so happy and warm. He said ever since that short moment in “heaven” he has turned into the happiest man he never thought he could be. He said that warmth he felt in “heaven” has never left him. He said that day, God told him, no more drinks for you. So he did just that, he never drank again. Honestly, his little story gave me goosebumps. He was tearing up when he told me this story, but not sad teary-eyes, very very happy teary-eyes. He had such a positive energy surrounding him and I swear I could feel his warmth in the room. I’d have to say that was the coolest, most invigorating conversation I’ve ever had with a stranger. If heaven is just a place where you are happy and warm, I’m okay with that. Actually, more okay with that. That sounds like heaven! I truly believe God took his life for those 10 minutes so that he could open his eyes to all the years wasted and finally give this man the life he was meant to live.
