     guns were certainly not the girlâs weapon of choice; they were too noisy for her liking, but they were necessary at times. a gun was certainly more threatening than the knives she possessed, good for when distance was wanted as well. â alright, i guess. â weapon is lowered, hands coming to rest upon broad hips.â and yeah, i know. iâm fuckinâ great. â
A chuckle fell from chapped lips at her words, eyes finding hers once she lowered her weapon. She was young, but that didnât seem to make her any less dangerous than himself. A girl hardened by the horrible world they lived in made him wonder what sheâd seen, but he wouldnât mention that. People were tough for a reason.
   â Well, youâre certainly better than some people out here. People that canât even protect themselves are still alive. But at least you know what youâre doing. â
 she flashes a smile ,  hues averting themselves to the ground .  after a while ,  she turns her head towards him ,  eyes lighting up with interest .  she folds her arms ,  dropping her bag behind her frame .  she may seem like sheâs not threatened by him  &  she isnât however sheâs not taking  ANY  chances  ;  it can cost her life .  taking a deep breath ,  she eases herself upon a rock ,  chin rising  &  vision fixing upon the male .   â  weakness ,  huh  ?  careful .  it can get you killed .  whatâs your name  &  how are you still alive  ?  â
He watches her, takes in her appearance completely. She looked strong, but beautiful at the same time, something that amazed him more than most things ever could. As her eyes meet his, he sees something in them that he hadnât before, making him curious. Hands move to his weapons belt, pulling it off and setting it down with his bag. Ocean-like eyes focus on herâs, his lips still pulled into a smile.
   â I think I can handle it. I have survived this long, after all. Aaron, and letâs just say my looks arenât the only thing I have going for me. Now you have to tell me about you, sweetheart. â
 she turns around to where the voice alerts from .  delaying thoughts ponder through her mind ,  vision fixed upon the male she sees now .  she doesnât feel threatened ,  thatâs until she sees the weapons clutched by his sides .  faculty stuck on the maleâs lips ,  reading his every word before scoffing at his attempt at sweet talk ,  a nod being gifted to him .  she gets ready to speak ,  perfectly lined  (  and coloured so sweet  )  lips part to slip in a sigh ,  eyes rolling .   â  hm .  &  shouldnât you be looking out for  BAD GUYS  &  not pretty girls like me .  â   she plays along ,  a wink taking place .
Arms move to cross over his chest, since heâs already seen how she looked at the lethal things he carries with him. He moves so his posture is a bit slack, eyes roaming over her a bit before moving to meet her own. His lips pull into a smile, he already knew she was just playing along. She intrigued him, made him curious, so he decided to keep it going. But he wouldnât be seen as a threat, because so far, she wasnât either.
   â Youâre right, but I couldnât help myself. I have a weakness for pretty girls like you. But who said I canât do both? "
@chemicalveined
â hey, a-rod, letâs pick up the pace, dumbass. we got SHIT to blow up and A S S H O L E S to spy on. â tone is harsh, but the FLICK of his hand is harsher, a sharp motion, one that commands attention and DEMANDS to be followed. eyes scan the surrounding area, searching for the phantomâs of shadows or scuffling of something less than human. a constant surveillance, an arrow always notched in his bow. a snake with eternally venomous fangs, oh it was FUN being in charge for once ( instead of being the BITCH under some sweaty old guy. )
Gun in hand, eyes the color of the ocean moved across their surroundings. At the sound of the otherâs voice, eyes dart to him and his brows knit together. The only reason he let Snake boss him around was because he didnât want to be in charge, too much responsibility for a lazy asshole like himself. He hesitates for a moment before doing as heâs told, scarred hands gripping his weapon as tightly as possible. His tone was sour as he spoke, but something in his eyes showed the extreme caution he was trying to take.
   â Iâm coming, mother. Not my fault I keep hearing things. This is why I hate this part of this god damn forest. â
@silentveinedâ
To him, she was very special. A girl that never spoke but was stronger than any woman heâd ever met, she was fascinating and captivating. When theyâd first met, he was skeptical, keeping his distance. But heâd opened up to her, and she him. The silence she had was comforting, and it made him not want to speak ever again. She gave him a sort of peace he didnât know he could have, but something he needed. His mind was a war zone, a place of battles that were never won or never finished. In reality, he was more messed up than he cared to admit. Especially before the girls came into the picture. He was sadistic, cruel, a mess of a man. But they made him human again.
Moving towards her, he took a seat beside her as she worked on cleaning some of the weapons theyâd gathered over time. He knew she usually trained with Snake on these days, whatever day of the week it was. Heâd told her he was going out alone to hunt that day, which heâd been doing a lot more as of late. The guy might have needed some space, so he didnât question it. She, however, seemed a bit down about it. Nudging her shoulder, he gave her a charming smile, but it wasnât like the ones heâd give other women. None of the smiles heâd ever give her would be like that.
   â You know, I could help you train today. I canât do all that crazy awesome climbing shit you guys do, but I can do my best. If you want, of course. â
@crowningsnakeâ
Strong arms crossed over his chest, brows furrowed in anticipation. His eyes darted up to the trees more often than they should, but he couldnât help has nervous tendencies. Every time they went to spy on the shitty authority that was left on this hell of a planet, his nerves were put on edge every single moment. Not only because they usually had to leave the girls a ways behind them, since they couldnât risk them being caught and taken in, but because whenever Snake left to gather what he could while in his element, the thought of him never coming back terrified Aaron. They were brothers, no matter how awful they could be to each other. Theyâd been together since the beginning of the end, and theyâd be together once the real end came, too.
A sudden rustling in the trees puts him on his feet within seconds, eyes moving through the leaves until they rested on the form of his leader. He only called him that to himself, never out loud, but he followed him loyally anyway. Brows knit together as the other dropped from above, landing a few feet from him as he began to speak.
   â Where the hell were you? That took way longer than weâd planned, dumbass. You better have some good stuff if it took you that long. â
@survivalforgedâ
Around her, he was gentle. He was loving, kind, considerate. All of the qualities that he seemed to have lost when the world collapsed. She made him who he was before he corrupted himself, before lifeâs harsh clutches took everything he loved from his hands. The innocent girl from a place of horror, a life he couldnât even imagine, made him a good man. He told himself that it was because she was that kind of person, but it was more than that. She had become like a sister to him, one of the only people in his life that mattered besides Kat and even Snake.Â
His hands held the knife out to her handle-first, the blade held carefully between his skilled and scarred fingers. They were hardened from years of dealing with chemicals and dangerous substances, and had become strong from the harsh need to survive. But for her, they were careful and calm. Ocean blue eyes traveled from hers to the target pinned to a tree just a few feet from them, his free hand moving to point at it before looking back at her, a smile on his lips.
    â All youâve gotta do is throw that knife just like I taught you. It might get frustrating but youâll get it, I promise. Just donât almost kill anyone this time, okay? â
@codeflawedâ
The hard, cold expression on his face was one he had worn when the end came. It showed that he meant business, which wasnât a good thing. He felt threatened, whether it be by the boy in front of him or the threat of zybrids closing in. Heâd been trying to take out as many as possible before they got too close, and he had for the most part, but this kid was in the way. Gun pointed at the ground, his voice was cold and monotone, not even the slightest tone of urgency. His eyes, however, had worried blooming in the blue galaxies contained there.
   â If you know whatâs good for you, youâll leave. Those damn creatures arenât far away. â

Gun hung over his shoulder, hands held up in the air, not a muscle moved as her gun was held directly at him. Blue eyes studied her, the way she stood, how the gun rested in her hands, the focus that was prominent in her eyes. He didnât even have to ask to know that she knew what she was doing. Her hands were trained in the proper way to hold the gun, her posture perfect for firing the lethal weapon. So far, this small girl had impressed him, but only a bit. There were far more skilled people in this fucked up world. People like him.
   â Man, you really know your stuff, girly. Most people donât even know how to shoot that thing without the kick knocking them over. Now, can ya put it down? â
@orphanlungedâ
Sharp blue eyes stayed with the woman as she moved, knowing she was unaware of his presence. She was alone, which was odd during a time like this. People usually traveled in smaller groups, like his own, but she was left to defend herself. It always intrigued him, how people could survive on their own like that. He could, of course, but it was stupid. Easier to die that way. Standing from his crouched position, he called out to her in a calm voice, trying not to seem like a threat despite the gun and bombs strapped to his sides.
   â You lost, lovely? I wouldnât recommend staying in this area for too long, or you might come across something thatâs not as nice as me. â
