the slow, haunting first verse of “and I’ve never felt more alone….it feels so scary….getting old” compared to the whirlwind, fast paced, yelling into the void second verse of “I’ve never felt more alone! it feels so scary! getting old!” transcends time and space because that’s what life feels like. slow, then all at once where you can’t stop it. how did she do that.

Attention, folks! You 100% need this. The greatest coincidence I've ever had.
First things first, I'm a student of Skyeng, which is the the biggest English Language School online (for Russian students). The School has a special app - some kind of interactive dictionary to learn new words. Every words in the dictionary has a picture to help us understand the meaning more easily [for example if you search for the words 'potato' you'll see the picture of а potato with it].
So, today, I was watching one of the oldest Phil's videos and suddenly noticed а comment saying:
'I wanted to cringe but he's too cute to cringe about'
I hadn't know the meaning of the word «cringe», so I went to the Skyeng app to search for it. When I saw the picture of the guy who was representing the word «cringe», I didn't believe my eyes. It took me about a minute to realize - it was Dan.
My mum assumed, the app must have access to your browser history or something, so I asked several students to check theire pictures
AND GUESS WHAT, EVERYONE'S RESULT WAS THE SAME AS I HAD!
So yeah, just think about it, there could be any person cringing, but it was Daniel Howell. Despite the fact that there was absolutely no reason to be.
And for some reason, I truly want you to keep it in mind.
Please reblog, so other people can see. ❤️💞
7 Tips for Improving your Social Life
1. Ignore your feelings when they say to put up walls … and actively decide to build a bridge instead.
2. Don’t compare yourself to others, or attack yourself. Appreciate your talents and the things that make you “you.”
3. Pay attention to your thoughts when you feel anxious or afraid. Imagine being successful, and relaxed, and popular.
4. Focus on what’s best in others; validate their gifts and strengths.
5. Avoid touchy topics; don’t be boring or offensive; and notice when it’s time to let another take the stage.
6. Try to focus more on others and the things that interest them. Avoid the trap of talking about me, me, me!
7. Be genuine and real – as that puts others at their ease … and others are more likely to be natural as well.
