I’m not sure how much reach this will have but any Australians that see this please vote YES for today’s referendum.

The other campaign has muddied the waters so much and it’s understandable that it’s confusing but this vote is important. It’s a step in the right direction to finally allow Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians a say in their own future instead of others offering “solutions” which in most cases are utterly patronising. Imagine your rights being dictated by outside forces where your own voice in matters is ignored.

So vote YES.

I will not be talking about the Loki finale for at least a month (probably more) cause to be honest I'm repressing more than half of it

The sheer importance of the mirroring between the scenes of Loki hearing Sylvie say "he really (Mobius) cares for you", and seeing the smile that formed on her face when she witnessed how awkwardly happy that made him, and the reaction of Loki when Mobius is ranting about him loving Sylvie is precisely the reason why Loki and Mobius' relationship is so much more special.

When Mobius is ranting about Sylvie and Loki, Loki's eyes are fixated on Mobius. He is agitated and uncomfortable with the conversation, and he can see in Mobius' eyes how hurt he is. But also, he's racked with guilt because he thinks Sylvie - someone that he has just learned to trust and accept, which inevitably extends to him beginning to accept himself - is dead.

Loki doesn't deny the idea that he loves Sylvie, but he doesn't accept it either. He keeps his eyes and his focus entirely on Mobius, attempting to read the body language of him and grabbing his attention by screaming his name.

But when Sylvie talks about Mobius' care for Loki, she's delicate and he responds in a very authentic way; he turns his head away, smiles and changes the subject. That validation that there is someone that cares for him in such a genuine way is something that Loki has never experienced before, and he's uncomfortable talking about it but he can't help but smile.

The smile that forms on Loki's face is real and raw emotion. And the realisation that he is going to, once again, lose Mobius if he stays with Sylvie at the end of the episode hurts him completely. That hug was his way of expressing his love for Mobius. He melts into it, embraces Mobius with all of the love and appreciation he feels the smaller man deserves, and the smile that forms on his face is the most genuine smile that he's ever allowed to form on his face before. He loves Mobius more than anyone, but he also loves Sylvie and he can't leave her alone. And Mobius understands that.

Mobius accepts it. And that's why Loki loves him all that much more. Because he doesn't expect an explanation from him, he just accepts him in every single way possible.

They don't even need to say anything about it, he just understands that this is something that Loki has to do. And he doesn't attempt to argue with him about it because he already knows how stubborn he is. No, he knows he'll be reunited with his Loki again. And he just holds him close. He's just glad he got to say goodbye this time. But he knows it isn't forever.

Look at Mobius' smile. Look at him and tell me he isn't completely in love with this man. He even uses Loki's stupid damn wit to bat the ball of emotion away when he smirks and says "you’re my favourite". This is so precious. They're so special. And they're so in love.

I love their dynamic, I really do. Marvel really did give us the good stuff today. I hope we get to see them reunite in the finale. I need that to happen.
