Heya~ It’s been a while. 5 years

First off... I’m genuinely surprised that my dead blog still gets likes and reblogs occasionally. During the course of time, a lot of asks were sent, and I’m really sorry for having left you guys hanging. At that time, high school grades were a priority ;; Now that I’ve been free from all that for a while, at the very least, an update was necessary.

Hi sweetie! :) And yes, about the Ssum.... I’m not sure what to think. I find it unlikely that it will have any relations to the other previous games, although that’s what I just think. To be honest, I’m quite disappointed that Cheritz has decided to postpone Lynn Project for this new game, and.... from my thoughts, I feel like this new game was designed specifically for both the MysMe fanbase because of its texting/chatting format and the kpop fanbase (*cough* Bangtan Sonyeondan fanbase) judging by the animation. Not to mention that, it’s an app. A free one, most likely.

Since there hasn’t been direct proof that MysMe has any links to Dandelion and Nameless (and there are still some MysMe fans denying the games having any sort of connection), the chances of The Ssum being set in the same universe is... next to nil. The fact that the website says, “The app with which you can call & chat with your special Ssum-one” gives vibes that Cheritz is targeting MysMe-only fans, not necessarily D+N+MM fans at this rate. (if it were the latter, they probably would have released LP first).

Again, this is my opinion, so take my thoughts as a grain of sand, okay? xD

Anyway, what are your thoughts as well? It would be nice if you could also tell me your opinion about this new game :D Anyone else is also welcome to speak about their thoughts here :) (sorry for my long post ;;;;)

This is why I left the Mystic messenger fandom. Everyone only cares for the “cute boys” while ignoring most of the story from all 3 games.

If you notice, the MC does absolutely nothing to resolve any issues, it’s the RFA doing thier own reflection. But they do have a hand at breaking a character. For example the bad endings.

There is also one thing that always sat wrong with me, the bad endings mostly Jumin’s and Yoosung’s bad endings. Everyone seems to fall in love with these 2 bad endings but i find it rather gross.

You basically broke yoosung enough to become extremely paranoid that he might lose someone close again, so the yandere personality is his way of keeping you. //Yeeeeeeeeeee that sure is healthy//

You also broke Jumin to the same point but hes more obsessive and controlling with the MC. //Yeeee thats “sexy.” //

Also the way you treat a character and every choice you make reflect a bit of yourself

What you do or say in fiction or towards a fictional character, reflects who you are as a person.

Mystic Messenger and Why Bad Ends are Bad

This seems to be very well received ramble on Twitter, so I decided to repost (and clean it up) it here. Here is the thread on twitter, if you are interested. This post may give some general spoilers on how to get the bad ends in the game.

Next time you think “I don’t get why this is a bad end,” remember the game is trying to show what a healthy relationship is born of. And if you BE, look back on the actions and words you chose that got you there. The answer is right there on why it’s bad.

“But the MC still ends up with him!” you say. Yeah, but at what mental cost to him and possibly the MC?

Zen BE1: The MC must be constantly putting him down by telling him he’s not good enough and making fun of his goals/dreams at every turn.

Jumin BE2: you must constantly tell him the things he cares about are no longer important. The MC should be the one and only thing important.(Confession: Jumin’s BE2 came very close to giving me a panic attack. It is a genuine nightmare scenario for me. I decided to blow HG and get BE3 out of the way.)

707 BE2: Instead of taking him seriously and allowing him to process his feeling correctly, you have MC force her feelings on him, ignoring his.

Yoosung BE1: Forcing him to not process his feelings correctly and saying MC’ll replace Rika. The former is why he’s already messed up.

Oddly enough, I think all of Jaehee’s bad ends can be seen as bad ends. In her BE3, the subject of the Bad End is the MC herself. She wanted this only to find out it’s not as amazing as she thought it would be even though she was repeatedly begged by Jaehee, a person who had come to care for her, to not do it.

Honestly, these Bad Ends are some of the best I’ve seen. When people react like this, it’s a learning moment to reflect on how to treat others. Not just in romantic relationships, but friendships as well.

Cherish what is important, listen, and grow. That’s the true lesson in MysMe.

This goes for people who shit talk Rika as well. But I won’t go off about that again, I’ve done it enough…

I do believe theres more DLC coming though as Zen's VA in his free time (The ultra universal handsome Jang Kim) indirectly said there would be more DLC

Oh yep, there will definitely be more… which I hope will be the last content we’ll get for MysMe. (otherwise, Lynn Project will keep getting postponed at this point).

Also, I am so sorry for not replying to this much much earlier ;;; School became a barrier this year ;-;

I loved your theory about Rika and the Wizard.. I eve thought that he might have met Seven as well. The Wizard is present in both Cheritz games: Dandelion and Nameless, so I thought he might be in the MM backstage as well, mainly because the characters has really strong wishes, being Rika the one who suffered the most about it. I think the wizard is very alive in Cheritz universe and they may put him there, since MM has no end

And yes, I agree with everything you say and believe the Wizard may have a part in MysMe (even if it’s backstage) Although, looking back at it now, there’s not enough proof to back it up… unless someone out there can show proof if any. You’re all welcome to do so!

…gosh, I hope Cheritz adds some kind of direct Wizard aspects to the route XD That’s where we’ll know that there is a clear connection between all the games and it’ll give us juicy information xD Yeeeee

I deeply apologize for not posting anything for the past… 4 months? I’ve forgotten ._. I also apologize to those who have sent me asks over the entire time I’ve been away from Tumblr.

Honestly, the only reason I haven’t been online as often as I was back then is because of school. School has now gotten stressful since the start of this year and the only time I will truly begin to be active on Tumblr will be in December this year to January next year. And then… back to hell.

Again, I deeply apologize to my followers for not clearing my absence up earlier and to those who have sent asks.

Even i have been away but i do return to answer some asks, hope you do well in school kiddo! Yes , mysteriously the news going around about the new character had really brought my attention, Lynn project is nowhere near in the future. Supposingly this new character could be Saeran or V , but it would bring me to surprise if it is a new character. Because mystic messenger world is still alive , and must be important to Rika , V, Zen, and 707. Hope we skype again soon! And please ask us anything while senpai is away! I'm so conflicted with all this 707/wizard theories. From what I've heard, it's canon, and essentially Saeyoung doesn't actually love you, but I'm??? Like??? There's no possible way that boy doesn't love you in every route, because it seems so obvious to me. I don't get the feeling that he's only acting, that you're just a game to him, that he knows exactly what to say and do to elicit the right reaction from you. His love for you is so pure, and I just don't know what to feel about this?

YoooOooOoo, you’re not the only one feeling this way. I don’t believe it either. The fact that it’s also considered canon is… what? It hasn’t even been confirmed by Cheritz themselves…

I truly think that Luciel does have feelings for the MC and genuinely cares for her judging by your statement on how he has to at least have loved the MC at one point. However… I can’t entirely say that he wasn’t using her…

From what I personally think, it’s definitely a game he made for fun but that doesn’t necessarily mean he doesn’t love the MC… especially with his Valentine’s Day special.

The best way I can describe Luciel’s departure from his Valentine’s Day special is that it’s a sign of progress for Cheritz’ new game, Lynn Project, and almost the end of updates for MysMe. Meaning, there will most likely be no more DLCs released.

…basically, he’s finished with us…

But only in the universe of Mystic Messenger.

I mean, there’s a possibility of him meeting us in Lynn Project. Whether he’ll actually show up in his MysMe character form and meet us as a different heroine or… who knows?

Hi! Have you seen Seven’s Valentine’s Day after ending? There’s a line saying I’ll see you in a different universe, since it has two different endings. It was the most explicit content that would actually say a lot about MM itself and its connection to Nameless and Dandelion. There was also something like, let’s watch the ending. I hope Cheritz would reveal more, tho.

YES! I have xD Hmmm, I honestly have no words to describe my thoughts, as well as any theories about those two endings (especially the dark chocolate ending .-.), but, if anything, I would say that this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OIGCTh5Tf0&t=0s by MeliZbeauty would be the, in a way, the theory I would most agree with to explain Seven’s lines at the end of those two endings.
