My name is Luna and i am 22 now, I use she/her pronouns. This blog is mainly a mix of journalling, music recommendations, and trying to make friends or support others with recovery. I’m on the spectrum and have bpd so human interaction and relationships can be hard <3 I love talking to people but sometimes i get burnt out and my emotional regulation sucks. I love getting asks and messages though! I really care about my friends and always try to help however I can. I am not necessarily in active recovery but working a harm reduction regimen. I am transgender and asexual so if thats a problem please kindly fuck off.

When I got my neuropsych diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder right after getting diagnosed with bpd it was a huge range of emotions. I still deal with feeling inferior because of attachment/codependency issues and needing extra help with some areas but at the same time I have the ability to really connect with people and help them.

I like helping people because it makes me feel better about myself and I understand what its like to need help. A single person can make a world of difference and it is a genuine honor to be that person for someone who feels like nobody else cares. Ever since my first psych hospitalization (of 9–11 i lost count) and dealing with horrible dehumanizing abuse and mistreatment I have always wanted to help those who need it most. That would be very fulfilling for me I think.

I was that one scared, confused, mentally unstable, behaviorally challenged drug addict girl that everyone gave up on and thought would forever be a statistic. Not much has changed except for switching from drugs to drinking and keeping it sort of in moderation but my point is i get it. I get the loneliness and feeling like nobody else cares, I get feeling useless and not being in control of your own body, and I get the never ending self destructive spiral.

I’m not giving up on you. We’re in this together. (I will always stay until my own health is put at risk and i become unsafe; if that ever happens then I need distance; just full disclosure) but I am here for all of my lovely moots unconditionally through the good and the bad; and yes, that includes you, reading this right now.

I’m usually a sweet and innocent little at heart but seeing my friends struggle or get harassed really brings out the mama bear in me and i feel very protective. 9 times out of 10 I can put aside whatever I have going on and shift into that protective mindset when I’m needed 🩷🩷

I’ve been having a very very hard with the heat. I have a lot of sensory issues/sensitivity so im already intolerant of heat but 5 of the meds i’m on; gabapentin, fanapt, seroquel, ativan and klonopin mess with the hypothalamus (temperature regulation part of the brain) leading me to be far more uncomfortable at reasonable temperatures.

Like I get to work and within 5 minutes I feel like I’m overheating, i need to wipe my forehead roughly every 30 seconds or so. My breathing feels slower and it’s very hard to keep up with workload even with only 4 hour shifts. It makes me feel disgusting and useless.

Even at home in the air condition and sitting next to a fan i feel so hot. I already only take 3 out of 5 of the meds that mess up my hypothalamus and everywhere I go I always feel so hot. And with my sensory issues for whatever reason i always wear a sweatshirt, and when I take it off i feel cold/uncomfortable. Idk how to describe it.

My mama and I applied for DDS (disability services) to try and get me some extra help because i’ve been really struggling for a long time now. Mama makes sure I eat, get out of bed, make it to work on time, shower, drives me to all my appointments, makes them for me, cancels them for me, picks up my prescriptions, and acts as my therapist, bestie, and emotional support coach. I simply can not function independently, at least yet.

I was really stressed and anxious out for the first meeting with our assigned case manager but it actuallye went well! She seemed very sweet and understanding. It’s going to be 3-4 months before we get an answer on whether I am found eligible or not but i’m very hopeful.

My goal is to get my own apartment with an assigned caregiver/big sister type to help me function. I honestly would not be safe all on my own. But I wouldn’t make them feel trapped or responsible for my life; i’d be super respectful and sweet and such a good girl. I just rly would not be safe or successful entirely on my own. It is humiliating asking for help. But sometimes when doing our absolute best isn’t good enough, it is entirely ok to say that we need help.

I haven’t been super active with posting because my mindset has been very negative and I really do my best not to add negativity to the world. A curse of the online trans community is that there is so much hate out there towards us that it is often reflected online. It can be very counterproductive to building hope to see people posting about how there is none. So I do my best to only share positive experiences regarding identity and being transgender because theres already so much sadness.

Mindset is such a volatile thing. Seeing a post about someone suffering from transmisogyny can ruin my day and seeing a post about someone being accepted can make my day. If I expect there to be a change I must be part of that change. And part of it feels icky to me having to silence and censor myself but I got 5 journals from Target so I can still vent 🩷🩷🩷 and the thought of making someone else cry just ecause I wanted to vent makes me want to cry.

Just because I am sad I don’t need to make the world a sadder place 🩷

Tw for scary dentist experience

I’ve had a LOT of dental work done, and I’ve never been in this much pain even after my wisdom teeth removal. They had to cut away a portion of my gums to put two crowns on (or so they say but jesus like why) and dear god it hurts SO badly i didn’t sleep for 2 days.

I’m trying so hard not to vape or smoke as to not worsen it. It’s kind of making a choice between mentally going crazy or the agony getting worse. Its been a consistent 9/10 pain level for 5 days and even on antibiotics, about 75mg of 7oh a day, tylenol and advil alternating every 4 hours and with a prescription rinse it still feels unbareable. I want to die i’m so miserable i’m off work for the next 5 days so im just going to drink to medicate so i don’t feel the need to smoke

Hii! I've read about your coming out and want to say some things. Whatever rude and uneducated people tell you, you're a brave and beautiful woman. Don't let anybody dictate your identity or make you uncomfortable with it just because of their own insecurities or whatever the fuck make people say such things to a trans person. I'm sorry for what you're going through and I hope you're okay right now. Congratulations with starting HRT and best wishes!! You got it queen!!! 💐💐💐

So my blog isn’t an ED blog or a pro ana blog, but I do significantly struggle with eating and self destructive habits. I have been in recovery for a long time but its a slow process. I do my best to eat at least once daily and not put negativity out there. Theres already so much in the world. I try to add a bit of positivity.

Can’t even lie i broke down crying the first time I heard this. Soul music has captured my whole heart and is one of the few things that has been getting me through. This is that kind of music you can feel in your heart. REAL music. And most of these highly influential soul artists have been sampled heavily in rap hits and it’s always a treat to hear the songs reused and recycled in new songs.

Isley Brothers, Al Green, Curtis Mayfield, Otis Redding, Nina Simone, holy shit, soul has been life changing.

I’n still going to post music. Diving into the soul music discography has been one of the most rewarding musical experiences I’ve ever had and I can’t get over how good and influential it is.

Also if you’re depressed- Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell is possibly one of the best medicines I could prescribe. Literally sheer happiness and infectious positivity. It’s absolutely tragic and heartbreaking she died at 24 of a brain tumor. The world got two albums that live on as her memory. Rest in peace, Tammi 🩷🩷🩷🩷

I really can’t believe I even have to say this it should be common sense but I am a human being with emotions and feelings. I am NOT anybodys fucking object and never will be. I will not tolerate harassment and objectification. I freely block anybody that is incapable of treating me like a person.

I am a transgender woman but I am still a woman. If you don’t like that, block me. Simple as that. My identity does not fucking impact anyone else but myself, I am the one who has to live with it. So please, if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t go out of your way to invalidate my identity and try to make me feel like shit for whatever reason. Maybe its insecurity maybe its projection maybe it’s generational hate or just an unhappiness with life but I truly struggle to understand why so many people take the existence of transgender people so personally. I guess you don’t truly understand something until you go through it yourself but holy shit the malice towards us in society is disgusting and beyond upsetting.
