Gratitude Sunday #52
Hey there!
So I begin reading the book called "The Magic" by Rhonda Byrne. Highly suggest it! It talks about the secret of the universe and how we can all become the person that we want to be and achieve all the things that we want in life. I will definitely touch into that topic further in another post, but idea is that the secret is 'The Law of Attraction'. In order to achieve the things that you want, you must think and feel those things. Part of the secret, is to be grateful for the positive things because the more you think about those things, the more you will attract it.
It's a simple idea. Everyday I have been keeping a diary of 10 things that I am thankful for that day and a list of the things that I want. On this blog, I will continue my Gratitude Sundays and pick out the top 10 gratitudes of that week.
Here it goes. This week I am thankful for...
1) The chance to be a speaker for a Sauder Business School workshop on the first day of school. A few people even come up to be to talk to me personally. I am truly honoured!
2) Spending time with an old friend of mine..(Jacky)...you always bring insightful ideas and different perspectives.
3) For the numerous heart-warming hugs that I received from my love. It always brings me so much love and joy with every squeeze. I cannot even contain my happiness with him. :)
4) For the free mug I got at imagine day at UBC. I really needed a new one.
5) The encore award that I received from work. Complete surprise!
6) For my Blendtec. I really enjoy making my smoothies with it. Changed my life!
7) The amazing lightning show that Vancouver got twice in the past while. Never knew we had the capability of that here! Just WOW.
8) Scoring a part-time gig with LifeScan Canada (J&J company)!!
9) Spending almost half a day with my bestie. I cannot thank her enough for bringing so much joy to my life. It's always good company, good talks, and always fun times with her.
10) Trying out yoga again. Started my practise at a different studio and I am completely in love. The instructors are amazing. They are passionate and very very wise. I feel like I am tapping into a whole new meditation state and it really excites me. I am always happy coming out of my practise there.
