Enthusiasts love cars not merely because of what they are, but because they are an extension of the self.

Whatever happened to front bench seats in cars?
Seriously though they are awesome. My first car had, well has I still own the car, a bench in the front and the back and it's awesome. The bench seat is definitely one featire if classic cars that needs to make a comeback for the next generation. mean sure it isn't as "sporty" as having bucket seats and maybe it's not entirely safe, but my car is from 1974 so I mean not much of it is "safe". But back in the day man when me and my friends were a little younger and a lot dumber not much was better than loading up the car cranking some tunes and looking for somewhere to go or something to do. Not to mention when you aren't loaded up with your friends that middle seat allows your significant other to slide right up close to you, and let me tell you that can lead to some damn good times.
Wish these were sold in America. It is a Modern Day El Camino

It’s not American and its not a classic, not yet anyways. But it is the Australian descendant to a classic American muscle car. The Holden Commodore ute is one hell of a car with a 6.0L v8 that puts out a respectable 362HP, 270Kw, or the HSV Maloo variant that will send a tire smoking 577HP, 530Kw, straight to the rear wheels. It is a damn shame that they do not sell these things here in the states. We got close we have the Chevrolet SS and had the Pontiac G8, both of which are, or in Pontiacs case were, just rebadged Holden Commodores, the Sedan variant of the Ute. In 2008 Pontiac even revealed the Pontiac G8 ST, a rather poorly named “sport truck variant of the G8 which was essentially a rebadged Holden Commodore Ute. We were incredibly close to having our very own Utes set to be released for the 2010 model year when Pontiac suffered major budget cuts and canceled the project, they went out of buinsess not long after.
