It surprised the shit outta me, but after watching me play a few seasons in Stardew Valley, and seeing Nick keep looking over and ask me stuff about it and how certain aspects of gameplay work, and getting YouTube recs after looking stuff up for me, he finally asked "... how much is that game?"

He's actually been enjoying it too 🤣 A dude who's usually about grand strategy/historical games like Victoria 3, Total War, Hearts of Iron, etc lmao. We've been helping out on each other's farms via co-op. I think we're on winter 1 in his game, and we're nearing the end of year 3 on mine (I was already in y3 when he joined mine). He's still (playfully) pouty about my profit margins vs his tho 🤣

Just finished the community center stuff and fixed Willy's boat in mine and I'm just enjoying it a lot ♥️ I'm also Happy about some of the little QoL stuff they've improved since I last played it.

Oh yeah, we did have a cat basically adopt us a couple months back. I looked for an owner for a few weeks, still check periodically, but nothing ever really comes up, so we just chocked it up to the Car Distribution System doing it's thing lol. She's a well behaved, very curious, and kinda silly little girl, and we're calling her Olive ♥️

So, I ordered components to build Nick a basic gaming PC, and I'm getting the installation files for Windows 11... when I looked down to realize the thumb drive is attached to a keychain... of Eleven 🤣😭

Today's minor gripe: Why do so many "two person" desks only come with one keyboard tray? If it doesn't have any, I get that. But why only one 🤣

Playing around with the fishing update for 76 and I unlocked Dottie. When she enthusiastically pronounced her acronym ("DSSNDUB!") in her excited voice, I absolutely cackled when "bless you" was an optional response.
