My entry for Story of Seasons’s 30th anniversary fanwork contest!

This one was a BEAST to work on. I based it off of something that happened to me in the game; I was showing my friend Arata, I tried to give him hot milk, but he was running his laps and my poor farmer couldn't keep up! I thought it was hilarious and that it was a perfect story for this contest. :-)

I love this series, and have been playing since the GameCube days! I'm so happy it's still going strong

Today’s the 30th anniversary of Story of Seasons! One of my all time favorite game series everrrr~

I drew this up in March and have been very impatient to post it! >w<

These games have been really special to me. I remember being 9 and cutting the illustrations out of my “More Friends of Mineral Town” game guide, and gluing them into my own hand-made booklet (loose printer paper, saddle-stapled together). I was using it to keeping track of game info like villager birthdays, favorite items, recipes, etc… the collector in me cringes, thinking of cutting up that old guide to make arts and crafts, but man that journal was the first of maaany creative projects these games inspired me to take on.

Over the years these games have brought a lot of comfort and fun, and they’ve seen me through both good and bad times. I’ve joined communities and built friendships because of ‘em. Bokumono let’s be in our fucking 30s together yay yippee 🐶
