OOTD: I DON'T DO STILETTOS.

      I don't wear stilettos these days. Not on the steep and narrow streets near where I live. Beauty over Balance - I choose balance, always! Block heels are sturdier and they still look great with the right outfits. Chances of me tripping over something and falling down are very small too.

      Still in love with this Helmut Lang inspired wrap skirt and it looks great with a basic t-shirt x

      These boot-style cutout block heels are pretty comfortable with some gel cushions in. Helps to prevent your feet from slipping down and the slingbacks from slipping off my heels!

      I love chunky jewelry just like this statement, studded chain necklace.

Glycerin is my new best friend.

    Don't you love it when you discover something new and realize it is good for you? For your skin? You see, I don't believe in spending hundreds of Euros on designer creams and potions. Or at least my sensitive skin doesn't. I'm going to admit I don't have the most flawless skin in the world. Who am I kidding, right? (Thank you makeup.) 

        So one day, I stumbled upon glycerin by accident, and now I can't live without it. Glycerin is my new best friend. Period. Google the word and you'll find a lot of information about it so I won't try to bore you with too many details. Glycerin, or commonly known as glycerol is a humectant liquid found in many cosmetics and other skincare products. It helps to retain moisture in the skin, making the skin soft and smooth. This will be my saviour during the Winter months!

If glycerin is so good so why not use it in its pure form? I get mine from the local pharmacy and it only costs €3.20! Make sure it is pure glycerin produced from vegetable oils.

I started introducing it into my daily skincare routine more than two weeks ago and I can't believe how soft and smooth the skin feels! I use two drops of glycerin and enough water to cover the size of my palm, blend it altogether with my finger and apply it to my face as a moisturizer before applying my foundation and finishing off with some loose powder. I find that my make-up stays on longer and my face looks less shiny.

I also use it as a face mask once a week. Tried this recipe with glycerin, egg white and lemon juice. I use only a few drops of glycerin instead of a 1 tbsp because I love the feeling of the skin tightening as the mask dries up! Check out the recipe as the website has lots of different mask recipes to try at home. i think I want to try and make a nice hand soap with essential oils with it (I'll tell you when I do).

On another note, you are what you eat so clean eating is just as important! I know I try my best! xx

OOTD: Rocking The Romper

      It still feels very warm here in Spain and it's already in mid-September! Some days I get lazy to plan my outfits because of this so I thought, I'll just put on my romper. No, I'm actually rocking it. Throw in a hat and a few accessories and I look like I made the effort!
