Goddammit Seishirou. (I blame @major-artery for this as much as I blame myself.)

It’s been about 18 years (-/+) since the doom fate of Seishirou happened and the unheard words that haunted fans for years. Many have speculated what these words could be and there are many great essays out there. Context wise it only make sense the words are along the line of a love confession given Subaru’s reaction and what followed (I.e. the “eye”). I think most fans agree on this.

As for the exact wordings, many suggest it ends with 好き (like) or 愛してる (love) after 昴流君…僕は…君を……(Subaru-kun…I…..you…)

One interpretation I haven’t seen being considered is to draw parallelization from a crucial scene from Tokyo Babylon. The scene in question is from Chapter 11 “End”, in which Seishirou explained what the bet was about. I circle the quote in green.

Extending his hand to touch Subaru’s face, Seishirou said:

僕は君を好きになるよう努力してみますよ

(I, you, fall in love, to make a effort.)

Translation: I will make a effort to fall in love with you

In X, he extend his hand to try to touch Subaru’s face and said:

昴流君…僕は…君を…

(Subaru kun, I…you…)

So the similar hand gesture to Subaru’s face, plus same words at the beginning after Subaru-Kun (And it’s also the only time Seishirou said 僕は君を) If we apply the same parallelization and mirror reading like many other scenes between Tokyo Babylon and X (i.e hospital door scene, the eye incident …etc etc), then the quote should be:

僕は君を好きになった

(I, you, have fallen in love with)

Translation: I have fallen in love with you.

btw this interpretation only make sense in the original Japanese text and is mostly lost in translation for most language due to Japanese unique grammar structures.

I have a new theory about Seishirou from Tokyo Babylon in regards to the ending of Tokyo Babylon and his feelings for Subaru.

Hear me out here.

Seishirou wanted to love and to be loved back — Seishirou didn’t have a normal childhood and we can assume he had a very messed up upbringing when it comes to love, care and kindness. He probably realized very quickly that most people did not share his life experiences. When he met Subaru (a person with the kindest open heart he’s ever seen) he made a bet so he could see what love really is. Not just feeling love but feeling loved. If Subaru (of all people) could not love him properly then no one would. And if no one would, it would not be a problem to continue murdering people. As time progresses Seishirou was able to witness other people falling in love (having dates, talking about each other & other things) and then once he met Subaru again he was able to pretend being in love in order to see if Subaru was going to show some love back. Of course this does not happen as Subaru is not only extremely busy (with literally helping everyone else) but also excruciatingly repressed. Subaru may love Seishirou in his own way but not in any way that Seishirou understood. Subaru’s love is kind, giving and gentle. It hides itself on small gestures here and there. Seishirou’s love is possessive and hungry. It wants body and soul and gives nothing in return. When we see him with Subaru (when he is showing his true colors) we see him touching Subaru almost in a sex driven way. These two people do not share a common ground when it comes to these feelings. It is only after TB that they understand what love meant for the other person. When we see Subaru again he’s became more selfish and possessive, reflecting more of Seishirou’s “way” of love while Seishirou finally understood what is to be selfless and to give yourself to the ones you love. But by then it is too late.

Hello folks here I am, finally crawling back to my favourite bottomless abyss and bringing a few updates from the huge universe of Daomu Biji! :D 

These past few years and upcoming few years are actually considered high time for Daomu Biji franchise, with many adaptations airing one after another, as well as a thick line-up of upcoming adaptations across different media. So, let’s rejoice folks, here’s a list of Daomu goodness to look forward too! ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و

As you might already know, 盗墓笔记：秦岭神树 Daomu Biji: Qinling’s Sacred Tree Animation has aired. Not sure if you guys have heard about this, but there’s also 重启之蛇骨佛蜕 The Lost Tomb Reboot: Spin-off movie that launched on Youku, starring Hei Yanjing / Black Glasses as the main character.

Now beside that, we’ve heard also a couple of news about other adaptations (and of course, as usual, don’t ask me when the actual air date is xD)

First off, we have 老九门贰 Mystic Nine 2, with some news (not 100% though) that the main cast of Mystic Nine 1 will continue starring in this one. Tentative air date is set as Q4 2022.

Lining up next, we have 南部档案 Archives Of The South, an adaptation of a Daomu Biji extra story of the same name. Tentative air date is set as Q2 2023.

Another one that is less heard about, but the filming has wrapped up and we likely only have to wait for them to announce the air date is 老九门之青山海棠 Mystic Nine: Mountain’s Begonia.

And the last one, which has been rumoured for a longggggg time but not much detail has been known (Ｔ▽Ｔ). I personally look forward to this one a lot, for this traces back to pretty much the origin of Daomu Biji. It’s 藏海戏麟 Wang Zang Hai’s Kylin Tale (okay I admit this might be a bad translation T.T, if someone has a better idea, let me know), which tells the story of Wang Zanghai and how he gets tangled in the Zhang family’s affairs as well as the secrets surrounding the Bronze Gate.

So, that’s a quick update from the Daomu universe for y’all! Don’t worry, we’re not dead, and trust me, we won’t be for quite a while. (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧

people are complaining about the solution that seapiracy gave, by simply not eating the fish. but at the other hand, people are not complaining about self banning some products that do not have sustainable labels (even though the label itself doesn’t guarantee much). 

are you telling me you have the right to eat fish but the forced labors that is on the ship don’t have the right to have freedom?

the things we should highlight in this movie, is how the sea is already on the road to be destroyed by our hands. the things we see everyday like eating fish is actually come from fishing commercial that bring consequences because of the industry itself. this movie bring the light to the practice of commercial fishing which have the impact for the environment, if not worse than what have been done to the forest. even to the extent that they still have force labor in there. so please watch the movie.

It's barely a day and i really can't help but checking out my freshly made vegetarian kimchi several times to see how it would turn out..

A little starting tips to be vegetarian (from my experience)🥦

First of all, as starter, i would try to consume less meat, and only eating the other dishes. (Ex: if there's chicken and mushroom soup served, then i'll try to only eat the soup and mushroom)

After you're used to eat without the meat, then let's say no to the non vegetarian dishes because, if you could eat without meat then why not go with eat vegetarian food as from now on🌱

Try cooking at home, as in this pandemic some places is still encouraged to not eat out. Especially if there's not many vegetarian/vegan restaurant nearby. I would recommended a youtube channel The Vegan Corner, their recipe is yummy💕

Don't forget the reason why you want to go vegetarian (it's healthy for body, less animal abuse, and for our environment too).
