The reception of the fanfiction “Rising” was one of the best things that ever happened me, and for that I thank you.

Clearly, the events of the story were the best thing that ever happened to Osomatsu and Jyushimatsu, too.

after much hard work, university getting in the way a lot and many generous deadline extensions, here’s my piece for the Chubbymatsu zine brilliantly put together by @chilidogs7442events!!! either through lack of originality or sheer gratitude for all your comments, kudos, asks etc. (or a mix of both) I wanted to draw something to tie my masterpiece, Rising, up in a pretty bow - an epilogue to the epilogue, if you will, but in visual form. I mean what I wrote up there from the bottom of my heart, trust me u guys ;__;

I’m proud of how this turned out but I felt bad that there was no room in the frame for Ichi, so here’s a bonus sketch… I know you miss being the fat one but that’s no excuse to hog the blanket

Zine will be released tomorrow!!

I'm happy to say that the zine is almost done being revised and edited and it shall be up for tomorrow, Wednesday June 14!! It has been a great learning experience and for this being my very first time hosting a zine, it has been quite a ride! Hopefully next year I can be able to learn from my mistakes and make the next zine even better! Thank you all for your support and patience!

Now that I have finished school and am finally on vacation, I will now start to put the zine pieces together! I hope to have it ready for next week!

Will the Chubbymatsu zine have nsfw content?

No, not this time but there will be another one with nsfw content in the future. I don’t have a date for that one yet but it will take place at some other point.

For the ChubbyMatsu Zine that is!!~ - Alright. So I’m finally getting around to doing this and it’s very important so listen up. As of now I’ve been having a lot of problems getting people to complete their submissions and school hasn’t been easy on me to get in contact with everyone. I appreciate those who have emailed me to tell me about dropping out due to personal issues. I hope those of you will be doing better in the future and hope to see you enjoying the outcome of the zine.

However, this means that… quite a lot of people have dropped out which it’s very worrying. So I decided to come up with a plan. I’m re-opening slots for those who wish to participate from the zine and help complete the missing spots. I am in major need of writers. It’s the one submission I have yet to receive and it’s the most important one. I also need help with more zine submissions and people to help me out to decorate a few parts of the zine such as covers and other things I will mention soon.

In order to join though, You HAVE TO BE RESPONSIBLE. Do NOT sign up for something you are not prepared for or motivated to do just because you pity me or anything. I’m looking for people who say they are willing to do something and do it. That is why I will be adding some special rules to those who wish to sign up for the new positions. Do not be intimidated, the rules are not bad, just strict because I need this content. - Rules: 1. To sign up, you must present your current works whether it’s art or literature or even both (Kind of like presenting a portfolio). Please make sure to message me privately with all your works. Make sure you provide at least 3 submissions for me to evaluate. I will later choose if you’re in or not after asking you a few important questions.

2. You will be asked if you want to join the zine editing team or just participation to submit an entry.

3. Make sure that you have internet because I will be messaging constantly to keep communication flowing. I need to know how everything is going and if you could help out other participants with the making of covers and other pages.

4. You need to have experience with team work. Zines are collaborative pieces. If you cannot work in a team, this isn’t something for you.

5. Be ON TIME. I will give the new participants more time to get their entries in but if the deadline is for a certain day get it done BEFORE! - Do not feel bad if you aren’t chosen to be in the zine. There’s always a next time. But the important thing is that you go through the experience of trying and trust me, that would help you in the future for another occasion. If you are already in the zine, contact me to let me now if you want to be part of the editing team or want to submit another piece. I will be extending the deadline one more time for all this to go down so be on the lookout!

I hope you've been doing well and thank you all so much for all the lovely entries I have received. If you haven't finished your piece yet then hoo boy, I got good news for you so sit down. The deadline has been extended ONE LAST TIME to the end of this month. Since I'm still gathering a few new participants and helpers for the zine I need to give them some time as well. So one last extension has been added. I've been meaning to send out an email for you all BUT school has not been going easy on me as of lately so I apologize. If you still think you cannot make it to finish your entry, please please PLEASE tell me on time. I will not be mad at you if you drop out but please be responsible and tell me ahead of time. Do NOT leave me waiting till last minute just to tell me you couldn't make it. So once again, the Zine's FINAL deadline is the 31st of March!!
