well, surprising literally no-one, it DID take me ten months to draw four pages ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but the important thing is that I DID draw them!!! I actually finished everything except the sound effects on the 13th but knew that if I pushed myself to do them then I’d literally be up all night picking fonts, so in the end I lettered it on Monday in honour of Hiroshi Kamiya’s birthday… and THEN tumblr decided to be a babyhead about uploading large files and I was like “sod that I’m going tf to sleep”. might as well wait for 31/1: technically a Sokudo day!

and with that, the comic mini-sequel to Rising is complete! tbh I’m not sure what’ll become of this blog now this is out of my system and tumblr’s interface just became even more of an eyesore - but I do know I’ll continue drawing Choros of varying degrees of chub over on Twitter. see you there  👋

happy Sokudomatsu Day! my contribution to this most sacred of character days is the first of 5 pages of a comic that - as the sign up there says - picks up where my self-indulgent-but-surprisingly-well-received fanfic Rising left off. if you haven’t read that yet, now would be the perfect time to do so (it IS quite long, though, so no hard feelings if you can’t make it through the whole thing)

I conceived this mini-sequel back in late 2016, intending to submit it to the Chubbymatsu zine - but that proved impossible since the zine happened to coincide with my final year of university, so I submitted a single illustration instead. more recently, I planned to finish and post the entire story by Sokudo Day, but that… didn’t quite happen - so instead I’ll set the ball rolling now and aim to finish it by the 24th of July, the fic’s 2nd anniversary. failing that, there’s always the 13th of November… or the 3rd of January 2019… but I swear this comic will get finished even if it takes me 10 months to draw 4 pages. hey - more time for you to read the fic!

Stupid Sexy NEETS!

Making me take time out of my busy schedule to draw this! My husband was making fun of me the other day because I said that I see Osomatsu images often (official or fan arts) and they’re so cute that I simply don’t know what to do with myself. So then I look around in a panic and with no one to share them with (because as far as I can tell there’s just me Verzi and one other person here who actually enjoys these boys) I just end up saving the images on my computer like a hoarder.

Last week I came across a series of images of the NEETS being so sexy, it completely devastated me (I’m still devastated). I added the images to my hoard and had to draw them stuffed in their sexy dress up outfits. T^T Even just looking at the images for reference was tough. My heart simply cannot handle it.

Overall, I like how this turned out. This might be the best Totty drawing I’ve done… I always have a tough time with him (and Jyushi for that matter). Anyway, I hope y’all like this.

Side note: For those unfamiliar with the series, based on their canon design you may be thinking these boy are teens or something? But no, these lazy little shits are TWENTY YEARS OLD. ^_^
