Vexen smiled. “Long time, no see.” He played with his hair a little. “I’m sorry for disappearing yet again. I don’t know why I do…”

“A very long time!” Maryx laughs, “but I understand the disappearing, you’re talking to someone who’s notorious for going missing for centuries at a time. How have you been Vexen? What have you been up to?”

“Mostly just making potions and trying to sell them. Not too many people remember I even exist…” He said, looking off into the distance. He was being a little dramatic, but he wasn’t wrong.

“Well I certainly haven’t forgotten. I might be old, but I never forget any of my friends ever.” She pats his shoulder comfortingly, “I remember feeling like that for a while when I reopened my shop. Nobody remembered me there….not that anyone ever really went to the nuts and bolts anyways.”

“You mean aside from the time I dropped through the ceiling?” Vexen joked.
