Mashle: Magic and Muscles, Where Everyone is the Straight Man to Everyone Else's Wise Guy

One of the funniest bits in Mashle that consistently keeps the comedy up is that everyone is a total weirdo in some way, but everyone also thinks everyone else is the weirdo and they're the normal one.

This allows for an infinite well of comedy, everyone just passes around the Wise Guy baton and thinks they're the normal one.

Hell, even the main villain thinks it!

And it's here, with Innocent Zero's statement, that this idea turns from a running gag into an actual theme of the story.

The main theme of the manga is tolerance, that Mash's disability of not being able to use magic is considered by society as a crime worthy of killing him. Society is so bigoted and intolerant that 0-liners like Mash are genocided and weak 1-liners like Regro or Wahlberg in his youth are looked down upon and abused.

Mash's main goal in the series is to change society and make everyone accept him so that he can live his life in peace. And it's with this gag that the series brings in a new angle to the central theme of tolerance.

Not just that everyone is intolerant of Mash because of his disability, but also that everyone is judgemental toward everyone else, even in small ways.

Huge manga spoilers ahead (like, end-of-series spoilers):

There's a reason Mash's big speech in the final chapter is about how glad he is that everyone has accepted him for who he is, and that society would be better if everyone was accepted for who they are and was able to live in peace.

He's summarizing the main theme of the story, which has been weaved into every element of the story from the very start, even in the gags and jokes.

Everyone has something weird about them that everyone else judges them for. But everyone is weird. "Normal" is a facade, a fallacy. No-one is truly "normal". The world would be better if everyone was more tolerant of everyone else's weirdness.

third installment of my blue lock stand user thing yippee

stand explanation below

I took a lot of inspiration from kaisers blue rose for this one especially for the overall shape, I also tried to make it look kinda regal because of his whole gods chosen emperor thing

the constriction ability is taken from his tendency to strangle himself and harm anyone he can, I wanted him to have an incredibly dangerous stand because the previous two I've done have both been mostly non violent stands.

I purposely chose to make the stand both taller than kaiser and bending down to be below him. Idk how to explain my thoughts properly but I sorta wanted to reflect his need for attention and to crush others by having him do the same to his stand, stands are a manifestation of the soul after all and hes very self destructive so having him look down on himself felt fitting.

also the white I used was colour picked from some milk idk why I did that I thought it was kinda funny
