This might be a bit of a surprise as weāve been quiet about the writing side of things, butā¦ we are officially recruiting 1-2 co-writers for Lads in Distress, a free otome visual novel based on fairy tales!
Long story short, Windchimes is currently the only writer of the game after Lily left. Although 3 out of 5 routes have been fully completed, it has been difficult for her to make progress on the other 2 routes when last semester of law school and freelance work to feed herself have to come first. So here we are, seeking help in hopes that the development on Lads in Distress will be sped up.

Position Available: 1-2 co-writers
Lads in Distress is a free-to-play game. It is basically a labor of love, so unfortunately, we have no budget to commission work. None of us in the team has received any payment or profit from this either.
We will, of course, credit you in game for your work, and our eternal gratitude.
Application Deadline: 3 weeks from now ā Apr 28, 2019
Tasks: Rewrite Merās route, write Ellisā route
Overall plot and outline already decided, but will allow for creative freedom with details. Would need to work closely with Windchimes to account for story and character consistency, as well as availability of art assets.
Approximately 50k words per route, so 100k words total for 2 routes.
Need to be able to write choices, branches and multiple endings.
Style: The closer to the current writing style of the game, the better.
However, Windchimes will do final edits for Mer and Ellisā routes for style consistency, so itās fine if your style differs.
Feel free to work on your own pace as long as you give regular updates

Bonus if youāve worked with writing scripts for RenāPy visual novels before, but not necessary. Windchimes will teach you how to write in the correct script format
