The adventures of Bonnie, Rikki, and Sadie

Today we saw Bonnie off on her journey to the rainbow bridge. Her liver and kidneys were beginning to fail and we couldn't let her suffer, and we will love her and miss her every day. It's not often that you come across a dog (or person) who combines so much love, happiness, intelligence, and beauty. After a little time to grieve, we will be looking for another corgi from a rescue or shelter to honor her memory. Her two fur sibs, Rikki and Sadie, are grieving, too. Bonnie enriched all of our lives, and I hope we did that for her.

Bonnie: What do you mean it's going to rain tommorow? This is Southern California. They even wrote a song that says "It never rains in Southern California."

Sadie's beginner obedience graduation photo. She starts her intermediate class in February, and if all goes well she will get her CGC sometime in April.

It's after midnight and Bonnie slept through Jimmy Fallon again. Corgmom loves to stroke those corgi ears.

Looks like she had one too many. Bonnie is now in a 12-step program for her addiction to Trader Joe's peanut butter dog treats.
