I changed the color from red to green, the velocity to be faster, and the opacity of some of the background lines.

In the process of creating the first prototype of the laptop case. We used lasercut acrylic and a heat blower to bend the acrylic over the laptop edge.

It is starting to gravitate away from the basic camera shape into a new object. I made the shape more like a square.
I wanted to make the shape less boxy so I changed the corners. The top picture is the paper template and the bottom two pictures are foam core representations.
Then I edited the first prototype. I changed the two flaps to a flip-out scanner that would be represented by a mirror. I used a paper clip as the hinge.
This is my first paper prototype of the camera model. I have the classic lens shape. On the screen side, I have the two flaps that would scan the eye.
I made these schematics on Illustrator. I plan on using primarily the slit method.
I have changed the general shape of the design into a camera. These are my sketches developing the design. In the top sketch i have the eye scanner at the top of the camera. throughout the sketches i switches to the viewfinder of the camera. the panels on the sides of the eye scanner are going to slide into slits. I plan on making this model out of foam board. There is also a toggle that switches from scan to shoot.
