Well, I havenāt revealed much about Hitomi yet! Iām itching to get back to her once I finish Kakuzuās backstory, which will be in a couple of months probably <3
Hitomi is one of my main mysteries in Chizome, so I canāt give away much, but hereās some fun facts!
Hitomi loooves the fine things in life, and if she can (responsibly) afford luxury, she will always take the opportunity to splurge.
You will see as the comic progresses, Hitomi seems to know all the owners of the nicest inns and ryokans around the continent. This is because she spends ALL her spare time in them. She literally works just so she can spend her free time eating bon bons and soaking in expensive water.
She has a hard time sleeping, and is extremely nocturnal. She prefers the nightlife to the daytime.
Hitomi got the nickname Chizome (ābloodstainedā) because, despite her disposition and appearance, she leaves behind extremely bloody scenes after a job. Authorities are confused, because the kills she makes are done in a ceremonial fashion, as if the killings are personal. Usually, professional killers avoid crime scenes like this. And despite all of this, they canāt trace her whatsoever.
She was trained to survive in the wild from a concerning young age, due to her family circumstances. Because of her need to hide her whole life, she excels at the Transformation Jutsu, and concealing her presence.
She is one of those people with a hard face to read. No one knows how old she actually is. If she wanted to, she could pass for 16 to 27.
Hitomiās goal in all conversation is to obtain information, and to give away as little as possible. Even in small talk with an ally. The only person she talks to openly is Amaya.
Hitomiās main hobby is psychoanalyzing people. She thinks humans are fascinating, and enjoys predicting their future moves. She does not do this in a malicious way, however, and will sometimes manipulate people into helping themselves. Whatever suits her mood at the time.Ā
Her clothes and sword were passed down from her mother and other clan members.
Hitomi always loves to learn, and thinks most things are interesting. She doesnāt get bored easily.
She also wants the people she is with to be entertained. She canāt stand a bored ally. She is a natural hostess.
She knows more about the Jashinist cult than she lets on.
She is extremely feminine, and loves dolling herself up. She especially enjoys perfume, but canāt wear it often due to her type of work.
