she was an hurricane — natalie & chloe
Her feet were being the brain of the situation, just like they were in many many situations before that one. Walking around aimlessly, absentmindedly making her way towards places she had never been before just to wake up from her day dreaming and find herself too far away from the last place she was aware of being at. Natalie’s mind was far too lost in its own world and thoughts; she kept thinking about that night, when the man kept lurking around their house and the inevitable —- not after some class A avoidance —- happened. Invisible, cursed. That’s what Natalie could think of, in the happenstance of someone asking her to describe herself. Yet, perhaps not many people would take it literally even if it was supposed to be taken in the most literal sense. She wouldn’t even believe it herself if she hadn’t know how cruel Fairies could be, after spending months being their puppet. Now she was forever afraid of feeling, of looking into a mirror and seeing nothing (literally) but a reminder of her time away from home, from Kenny.
Shaking her head, trying not to think of it for it upset her and she couldn’t deal with that, it woke her up from her mindless wandering. Somehow, for some reason, she had ended up in a store, Fairchild’s Felicity. The bookstore her brother seemed to spend so much time at and where she seemed to have been for at least half an hour before she finally woke up. Hopefully, she hadn’t come off as… weird. Though, weird would be an understatement considering everything that was going on with her, all at once. No one was really around anymore, were they? She couldn’t even see one single soul there, so maybe she had been there longer than she originally thought. Taking off her headphones, the girl looked around and realized just what was happening. A storm, a big one was brewing outside and she had found shelter even with her mind lost within her own brain. Should she just venture out and go home?
Natalie looked around. Seeing a small shadow not far from the window she was near, the young girl made her way towards the woman, whom she had spoken to at least a few times before. At least she thought so. Before speaking, Natalie tucked a piece of stray hair behind her ear, clearing her throat so the taller girl would know someone was behind her, and that that someone intended for her presence to be know. She could think she was about to blitz attack her so better safe than sorry, right? “Sorry, hey, er —-” she began saying. “Do you know how long this is going to go on for?”Natalie asked, pointing outside, referring to the storm, not really realizing just how worse it had gotten within a few minutes. “I should be home by now.”
Chloe had been outside when the first raindrop fell and when others began to rapidly follow pursuit, she smiled. She paid no attention the darkening of sky of the winds as the whipped her hair around and pushed against her. She had lifted her face to the sky, eyes closed, allowing the rain to fall onto her. It was like a ritual with her, with each rainfall being a cleansing ceremony. It was only when the winds threatened to steal her away and lift her into the sky that she realized that perhaps she should go inside.
The first thing Chloe noticed was the girl standing idly with her back turned to her. She wondered if she had been here before the storm began or if she snuck past her while she silently prayed to earth. Either way, she was here, standing in front of her. Walking around, Chloe was met with a familiar face, and she smiled. However, the girl seemed to be preoccupied with some internal musings, something she was all too familiar with. Deciding that it was rude to disrupt the girl, Chloe ran upstairs, quickly drying off and changing clothes.
Coming down again, the woman took notice off her now empty patio which had been surrounded by plants and other knick-knacks just minutes before. It was then that she began to think that this storm was perhaps a bit more than she had anticipated. Without a second thought, Chloe turned on her heel and began piling random books into her arms, wanting to protect what she could. Behind her she could hear the girl begin to stir and not long after, her voice echoed throughout the store. Turning back to the girl, arms full of books, she gave a small shrug and apologetic smile. "I'm sorry, I don't." she apologized. Staring at the girl for a moment, she began again. "There's a radio behind the counter if you would like to try that, though I'm not sure if you'll be able to any reception. It's pretty bad out there," She nodded towards the window.
"Oh. I see. Well... I really don't think it would be the best choice to try and go home now. The storm will pass soon enough. Promise." She gave the girl a sweet smile.

2: Talk about your first kiss.
Well, uh... I was kissed by a little boy in preschool. Does that count?
4: Talk about the thing you regret most so far.
I don't have many regrets. Everything happens for a reason right? How can I regret something that is meant to be?
18: Talk about something that happened in elementary school.

11: Talk about the best dream you’ve ever had.
Well... In my dream I lived behind one of the bookshelves in The Library of Congress. Oh and my best friend was James Madison. It was amazing.
8: Talk about the thing you are most proud of.
That's easy - my collection of books. And Catherine The Great, of course.
25: Talk about an ex-best friend.
Answered!
33: Talk about what you do when you are sad.
I make myself a cup of tea and curl up with a book and Cat. Or I go for a walk in the woods. I try not to be sad too often, though.
36: Talk about your guilty pleasures.

17: Talk about someone you want to be friends with.

19: Talk about something that happened in middle school.
Middle school and elementary were very similar, though I suspect it is because it was mostly all of the same children. Well, in middle school I was finally able to fully grasp what it means to be a half-breed and I was able to begin honing my abilities.

6: Talk about the worst birthday you’ve had.
I think that would most likely my 6th birthday. I had planned and imagined a gigantic birthday party for all of my classmates and myself. Though, of course, nobody showed up. But it was fine, my mom and I still had a lot of fun.
17: Talk about someone you want to be friends with.
I would like to be friends with a lot of people. Everybody, really.
22: Talk about your worst fear.
Answered!
39: Talk about things you wish you’d known earlier.
That life isn't always a picnic but it always works out for the best.

12: Talk about the worst dream you’ve ever had.
I… Uh… the worst dream? Well… I think that would be… Well, one time I had this dream that I floated off into space and I just kept floating, forever and ever. It wasn’t horrible. Just… lonely.
18: Talk about something that happened in elementary school.
A lot of things happened in elementary school. I guess the best thing would be that that is when I started journaling.
20: Talk about something that happened in high school.
High school was simple, there’s not much to tell. Honestly.
22: Talk about your worst fear.
Um… Not finding love. Being alone. That honestly seems like the worst fate possible.
25: Talk about an ex-best friend.
I don’t have an ex-best friend. Sorry.
27: Talk about your favorite part of someone else’s body.
Somebody elses? Well, um... My mother has wonderful hair?
36: Talk about your guilty pleasures.
Well, I've found that I really like to bake but I'm not exactly sure that that is a guilty pleasure.

Kenny: Thanks, I try. Want anything? I'm in the grocery store anyway, and I have the feeling I might be able to take some stuff for free.
Kenny: Though I'll definitely pay anyway cause I'm me
Kenny: oh, but of course! though I was actually referring to your little code name... hahaha ever the dorky little secret agent
Kenny: No problem :)
Chloe: I don't need anything but I think that Cat would appreciate some treats. If you wouldn't mind.
Chloe: Oh. Well. That too. I guess being dorky is in my nature.

Kenny: okay, good, thank you. And I will! As soon as it dies down. I've promised her chips.
Kenny: You are such a dork, oh my god.
Kenny: Also you're the best.
Chloe: Chips? You're a good brother.
Chloe: I thought we might need something to pass the time and I didn't want them to get blown away.
Chloe: Thank you.

Kenny: Yeah, definitely not. There's some pretty bad debris out there
Kenny: okay, good. don't let her leave! Especially not if she goes invisible. Try to keep her calm though
Kenny: and obviously don't let her know that we're close. She'd kill me if she knew you did anything more than get me books.
Kenny: thanks so much, Chloe. You know how imporatnt she is to me
Chloe: I won't. I'll make her stay. Will you come when it's over? I will try. We brought some books down, maybe that will distract her.
Chloe: It's our secret, Deep Throat.
Chloe: I know. I'll do my best to keep her safe.

Kenny: I will. I'm mad I didn't run there instead of here. we're olny a block apart.
Kenny: Good, stay away from windows and stuff please
Kenny: wait, is Nat with you?
Chloe: Well, don't try to get here now. It's too rough. Stay put.
Chloe: We are. We're in the basement.
Chloe: She is.
ooc: do you ship your charrie or see any potential ships with others as an either otp or brotp?
OOC:
This is a hard question. My main BrOTP for Chlo is Kenny/Chloe. And as of right now, Chlo ships herself with a mystery guy, so... We'll see :)
