This is currently blowing up again so I wanted to add a quick thought: I originally jokingly implied this interior should stay in the 90s where it belonged. I would actually love to see car makers embrace fabric interiors again. Dark grey leather is so overused and boring at this point. Let’s go back to experimenting with great textiles like this!

I also just found out diary of a wimpy kid came AFTER dear dumb diary was released (and dork diaries after both), I assumed it was just the girl versions coming out after the most popular one but this does make more sense I guess since diaries are considered more girly.
