when xia yizhou was still alive, during his first year of college, he made the ‘most stupid decision’, quoting him, and decided to get a tattoo of a red apple on his arm, with her initials, telling her he’d never forget her and she’s still his favourite despite not being in linkon,
it was just a simple apple tatt but she wished it symbolised something more, perhaps something like apple of my eye or, even the forbidden fruit from the bible, sins one can never think of about siblings this close and loving, but then he was gone.
feeling awful and lost, it was the pain as the needle walks over her skin, carving the beautiful granny smith onto her skin that she truly acknowledged everything, and he was gone and she wasn’t ready to let go, yet this is the only way she feels alive and as if he’s still with her.

immense regret is the only thing occupying his mind, until it doesn’t as some chip does some things to his brain(the chip that resets his emotion + takes away parts of himself). she doesn’t notice that, too focused, or rather too unfocused as she continue tracing patterns.
he desperately fights internally, refusing to let them take her away, he grabs her face, not gently yet not forcefully, to get a better look at her eyes, refusing to forget her, “please..”
