It was a rainy day in Gravity falls, Inside the Mystery Shack, Dipper was looking at his journal to check out the next mystery creature that will show up. He currently has one Mabel Watches outside As the rain pour outside. "Ugh I'm bored!" Mabel says blowing raspberries. Dipper closes the journal and stands up looking around. "I guess we can go out. Grunkle Stan is Currently out fishing" He holds his sister's hand and putting on their hoodies they walk out the mystery shack. Mabel kicks a few rocks on the way and They soon walk into a Diner taking a seat at the booth. "Aww hey lovelies!" A southern voice says. A woman with a pink coat and skirt with makeup walks over holding a note pad her one eye was closed. "Lazy Susan! It's been awhile!" Dipper says excitedly. Mabel gives Susan a hug and smiles "We haven't seen you since freshman year!" Susan laughs. Her Texan accent showing "Oh I missed you too. Your grunkle and I are Expecting Someone" She rubs her stomach. Dipper Nervously chuckles and Mabel looks at Lazy Susan in awwe "You are pregnant?!" Susan laughs and smiles "Yeah! I'm hoping to tell Grunkle Stan when he comes back from his fishing trip!" The twins nod and Soon after Lazy Susan takes both their orders. As she leaves Mabel leans back on the seat laying down entirely, She blows raspberries again. "Sophomore year and not one boyfriend!" Dipper Face palms "That's because I won't let anyone near you" He mumbled.
There was a reason for that. Most of the guys at school thinks with their Dicks. Kyler from Art class always puffing paint, Jake smoking. None of the guys at school so far fits Dippers standards. The Rain began dying down outside And Lazy Susan gives them both their plates. Mabel sits up and pokes her Eggs while Dipper starts cutting his waffles. "So what's the deal with you and candy?" Dipper stops cutting the waffle and winces. "We are no longer Together" His eyes began to shift. Mabel gasps "Oh she told you! She's moving to another state?!" Dipper nods and The Diners front door opens, It was Wendy followed by Robbie. Robbie was holding Wendy's hand and Dipper scoffs, His crush since he was a child is going back to her Ex? Unacceptable! Mabel shakes her head "Yeah Tammy and Robbie didint work out for some reason" She turns to her twin brother and reaches forward, Holding his hand.
Dippers face began to heat up. Why is he blushing while holding his sister's hand? Mabel oblivious let's go of her brother's hand and began eating her eggs, and drinks her smoothie. Dipper smiles walking to Wendy "Hey it's been awhile!". Wendy smiles at Dipper "Hey Dipster how are you n Mabel Aww!" Wendy stands up hugging the twins, Robbie stands up with his girlfriend Wendy and punches his own hand. After the hug Wendy smiles "My cousin is Having a football game. He's Around your ages so you wanna attend?" Dipper was about to Reject to invitation but Mabel Eagerly accepts, Wendy cheers and The twins along with Wendy and Robbie walks out the dinner and Lazy Susan walks out the kitchen yelling "You forgot to Pay!"

The walk was Nostalgic and Refreshing, Since coming back after School Mabel and Dipper was happy But something is Strange about Robbie. He holds Wendy close while the four of them continues to walk. They soon Arrive to a School called Gravity High and into the Football yard The yard was big As it is a football stadium but The railing and walls was painted gold. A Man with deep brownish skin Yellow short hair and green pupils wearing a Red jersey walks up to the group sweating, He hugs Wendy and smiles at the group. "Names John You must be my cousins friends" Dipper smiles offering a hand "I'm Dipper and this is my twin sis-" His words was interrupted as Mabel stares at John in Awe she began to drool "Oh your hot Asf" John raises a brow and Dipper pulls a fist behind his back clenching it. "Right. Well nice to meet you both. I need a second quarter back the last one broke his legs" He points to the grass field where a Man with orange hair was pulled into a stretcher. "I'll do it!" Dipper smiles. He'll show Mabel that he's the man. He's better than anyone. John and Dipper both walk towards the gym Room, Mabel leans against the railing and Robbie scoffs "Break a leg pipsqueak!"
Dipper takes off his shirt and John Throws the brown haired boy a jersey. "Let's Destroy them over there" He puts on the jersey Pines 6 and a shirt beside him Pines 12. "Yeah my cousin had that made.. well I made it but still" John blushes darkly. Dipper smiles at John "Hey Dude where are you from I hear a Mexican accent" John stretching his legs looks up at Dipper "Sonora born in Raised" He puts on his Helmet and Runs out the gym Room "Nos vemos en el campo, pastelito!" Dipper chuckles putting on his helmet and Runs After him "Right whatever you said"

Mabel continues watching the game Dipper and John's Team scoring,John pushing one player while Dipper dodges being tackled. She bites her bottom lip and Wendy Sits beside her "So it's been a few years. What you both been into?" It's been awhile since Mabel had any girl Talk Aside from their mom Candy moved and been busy getting into college. And Pacifica has been busy with her boyfriend. She looks over at Wendy and smiles "Oh the usual solving mysteries. We found out there was a cannibal gnome last week that ate people's toes" Wendy winces looking down at her shoes "Glad they haven't gotten to me" Mabel nods and looks over at Robbie, The man was smoking a cigarette while watching Dipper and John play. They scored another touch down. "So what made you go back to Robbie?" Wendy sighs and cross her legs. "He came to my house while it was raining My dad Was pissed. He was crying telling me Tammy Dumped him and that he couldn't go on. So we got together and things has been peachy. Plus we have unresolved feelings" Mabel shakes her head but groans "Lucky you I'm still looking for Mr right. Maybe I can date your cousin he's hunky" Wendy nervously chuckles, John shoves a 6 foot tall player away as he runs "Yeah he's a cousin removed. His family makes a mean Taco" The crowd including the girls Cheer. After a score of 20 vs 9 Johns team wins, He takes off his shirt showing his tanned Abs and green nail polish, Dipper takes off his own shirt He has a bit of a belly which makes Wendy giggle Robbie smiles kissing Wendy's cheek "Babe can we go home?" She gently pushes him off "No thanks Hun not now" He scoffs and the boys walk upstairs Mabel smiles walking to John giving him a piece of paper.
"Here's my number" She skips away out the stadium and John awkwardly puts it in his pocket Dipper smiles at him "Great game man" Dipper Pats johns back, As Dipper walks away Johns eyes bore into Dippers back. And he looks back at the number being given to him. "What a interesting Day Pine Twins" Wendy walks to her cousin with her clingy boyfriend Robbie. "Always A hit with the ladies" John Rolls his eyes sipping his water "I'm not interested"

Dipper and Mabel Enters Grunkle Stan's car buckling up, The old man began the drive and Dipper smiles along with Mabel "Someone's been busy" Grunkle Stan raises a brow "Yeah fishing" Mabel giggles and She lays her head on her brother's shoulder, closing her eyes. Dipper blushes faintly. His sister's scent is just alluring, she smells like strawberry Cheesecake. Probably the snacks she stole from the diner. The ride home was Quiet and peaceful.

The idea I had was that Jasper doesn’t really heal from her corruption, she just gets a better handle on it, but it still flares up from time to time (such as when she gets a surprise or a shocking revelation). Honestly, I don’t have much Jasper stuff because I want to write her fairly and accurately as possible, but I don’t have a great handle on her character. Kind of how I feel about Garnet, too.

Literally never use Tumblr aside from occasional reblogging (sorry for the DM's that I have struggled to respond to in um.... YEARS, I am SO sorry) I just want to say how much I miss older PlayChoices.
I haven't picked up the game in ages, I used to play pretty much every day. I jumped ship around the time Alpha was being released I think? I would maybe make a yearly appearance on the app to replay old books like ILITW, D&D, TC&TF, etc. The app used to share intriguing adventures in fantasy settings, historical dramas/mysteries and campy stories about rising to stardom. It started to almost exclusively create more smut oriented stories (which is fine but I feel like it really deterred good portion of the fan base, myself included)
I remember stories like Open Heart, Desire and Decorum and Blades of the Light and Shadow updating and the PlayChoices tag trending at number 1. Fan art, fan fiction and edits were being posted DAILY. Theories, speculations and memes would circulate, inside jokes would form, heated debates about yet another book using OH faces for MC would spark discussions. It felt like a thriving fandom bonding over different stories that were being produced by Pixelberry.
I don't know when momentum truly started to slow down on the app as I had abandoned ship before it truly became obvious, but I can't help but feel like the use of AI generated assets really stomped the passion a lot of fans had for the game. I also feel like a large portion of the fan base were maybe deterred from the overwhelming amount of smut books and lack of other genres being explored. Smut sells, I don't blame Pixelberry for this decision, but I feel like it was a really polarizing action on their part. Books like ILITW, BOLAS and ES really showed how a story doesn't have to rely on the romance aspect for it to be received positively by its audience (I would like to mention that I am aware that there were some books displaying relationships in more harmful and dangerous lights without calling them out within the narrative, such as Witness. If I recall correctly my experience reading it presented a possessive dynamic that was never discussed further, there was toxicity that was never confronted within the narrative, creating an unhealthy message to the player/reader)
I look back and think of how the Playchoices tag would trend a few times a week and smile. I think back to the community it made, how artwork of various mediums were created inspired by the books that were being released at the time. The excitement for a new book sequel to release, the dread (affectionately) of yet ANOTHER TRR book being released. I think back to how the characters in the older books and the fan artists of the community inspired me to pursue my illustrations more seriously and see my art in a new way and push myself to draw in a way that really resonated with me. It was truly heartbreaking to see Playchoices turn to AI slop instead of actual artists for their assets. I would take reused OH faces for the 1000th time over the genuine horror slop I've seen on my feed.
All this to say, without this app and its fandom I may not be where I find myself in my personal and professional art journey, for that I will be eternally thankful.

3 former PB creatives have founded a new company called Rogue Wombat Studios and announced their first title Unbound: Discover Your Story.
You probably know the writer Emi Moore best, who's (co-)led or been involved with many beloved fantasy and supernatural Choices stories. The other two founders are from the art department and the company has made a bold promise that the whole game - even code - will be human made.
Based on RWS' LinkedIn page, Unbound is likely to be a mobile game, which makes me somewhat wary, considering the predatory monetization practices on that platform and another reason why I've avoided Spellfyre. They do plan to launch Kickstarter though, so if you're interested in their project, you can subscribe to the newsletter and follow them on Instagram and facebook.
BTW, Rogue Wombat is a bit unfortunate name choice since they have to fight for attention in search results against an AI software company of the same name 😬

After having the drink at the bar Liam smiles not wanting the nice to end and offers his arm “Come the city is beautiful at this time of year”
Riley smiles as she takes his hand and they walk through the city together “This is beautiful”

“So what is it that you do Liam?” Liam’s hold tightens on her arm and he sighs “If you don’t want to tell me that’s fine”
“No I’ll tell you I was just dreading it” He takes a deep breath “I really don’t want to scare you off”
“Is it a like a gang or criminal?”
“No nothing like that more of the government”
“Are you like a politician?”
Liam sighs “I’m a prince soon to be king”
Riley’s eyes go wide “You’re a prince? And you’re gonna be ruling this country?”

“No it’s just a surprise you don’t look like a prince where’s your crown”
Liam chuckles “I don’t wear those all the time considering they’re heavy and I like to go out like a normal person”
“I see royal life must get exhausting”

Riley looks away not wanting to remember that pain then smiles “It’s nothing maybe I’ll tell you about it another time”

Liam smiles “Yes it is” His phone buzzes and he sighs “Security team is letting me know it’s getting dark”

“Of course Liam” She pulls out her phone and they give each other’s numbers

Riley and Liam begin text and calling everyday and eventually it turns into Liam asking her out.
Liam grins when she says yes and plans the date excessively
Riley giggles as Liam navigates being normal and she helps him out. Many dates later Liam and Riley begin to fall in love and Liam eventually confesses his feelings to her asking her to be his. Riley smiles and confess to him too. Liam grins and they kiss deeply.
Riley eventually decided it was time to tell him about her past. Riley calls up Liam and tells him to come to her apartment. Liam rushes right over and asks what’s wrong.
Riley sighs “Liam if I tell you this you can’t tell anyone else”
Liam nods “Of course Riley I love you” He takes her hand “You can tell me anything”
Riley nods “Well you’ve been asking about my family and I’ve been avoiding it and I’ll tell you now” She takes a deep breath “My dad passed and I was little and after that my mom the woman who loved me the woman who was supposed to protect she turned into this alcoholic abusive woman” Liam’s eyes go wide as she continues “ We had an argument about me going to college and she nearly killed me. I ran away from her after putting sedatives in her beer bottle”
“Oh Riley” Liam pulls her into his arms as she sobs “I’m so sorry love you didn’t deserve that” Liam rubs her shoulders “I hope she hasn’t tried to contact you”
“No a neighbor of mine said when she realized I was gone she heard screaming things breaking and she did knock on her door asking where I was I’m glad the neighbor lied”
“Good that woman won’t go anywhere near you she’s a terrible person grief shouldn’t cause you to turn into that she could have gotten help”
“I’m starting to wonder if she was always like that and the loving mother I knew was just an act”
“Well I’m sure she won’t find you all the way across the country”
“I hope not”
Liam takes her hand “And even if she does I’m here for you”

Erica a woman with short blond hair, green eyes and red dress was inside a palace. The place belong to the king of Cordonia Liam. A white man with blue eyes and blond hair. Since his father passed away it was just him and Leo and their mother. Olivia glares at Erica angrily.
"You are lucky I don't have any knifes on me" Oh she's angry at Erica. The reason for her anger started Earlier today. It was meant to be a simple robbery. . .
A few hours earlier
Erica was at home putting on a dark dress, Her boyfriend Jeremy a man with glasses and brown hair and dark jeans with a dark hoodie hoisters a small gun into the gun holster. "Alright sweetie the plan is simple. We gotta Steal the diamond the king has" Erica smiles hugging her boyfriend from behind, Kissing his cheek. "You sure we will be fine?" Jeremy nods and hugs Erica close. "Of course. Nothing will go wrong and if it does I'll do my everything to keep you safe" Erica smiles. "We do need the money" hand in hand they both walk outside in the night air the rain pouring. They both get into a van and Jeremy drove. Erica sitting beside him holds a walkie Talkie. "Earth to Barbie" On the other end was a femine voice, she's Jeremy's Sister.
"Earth to Bert and Ernie I'm inside the palace, The prince is talking to a blond woman and a Red haired woman. She's Abit intimidating" She whispers over the walkie Talkie. Erica looks over at her boyfriend as he drives and back to the Spy device. "Do you see the diamond?" Staci who is Jeremy's sister walks around pretending to fit in she sees the diamond in the kings hand, She quickly whispers "The king has it" Both of them nod and Jeremy parks the Van in front of the Palace, Erica and Jeremy walks out the van and looks around.
"Alright if we are gonna not be caught wear this" Jeremy gives Erica a pink dress, He gives her a thumbs up as she puts it on. "I will sneak in by climbing up the Palace walls with these suction cups" Erica smiles and kisses Jeremy's cheek. "After this score will we get married?" She asks. He nods and kisses her softly then seperate. Erica walks in front of the Palace, The security guard eyes her outfit. "Oh Another one of Madeline's possy. Come in in" She walks inside and the sound of music playing gets Abit louder with each step. She meets up with Staci and gasps next to her boyfriends sister was Hana and Penelope. "Oh hey your Erica duchess of Candy land?" Penelope asks. Erica puts on the most rich accent she could "Yeah I am the duchess of Candy land" her eyes was on Hana She can't explain it but every time she looks at her, her heart beats Abit faster. Hana smiles at Erica and then goes back to sipping her Tea. The king and Liam and Leo was sitting on the stage on their throne, Leo smiles waving at everyone and Liam wears a smile. His eyes land on Erica. A idea pops on the woman's head and she leans forward whispering in Stacis ear, Staci is a white woman with pink short hair and tattoos and a green dress. "Why don't you seduce one of them?". Staci rolls her eyes. "Bet I'll go with the older brother and you the younger one" Both nodding, The king gets up walking away from the stage towards the chambers. Leo was occupied by Staci and Liam by the punch bowl was staring at Erica. "I believe we haven't met. I'm Liam the prince and future king and you?" Erica smiles taking his hand. "Erica Im-" A gunshot was heard.
Everyone In the palace dance room began screaming and scrambling, Staci curses under her breath "That fuckin idiot" A woman with red short hair pulls a knife near Staci neck. Olivia smiles holding her at knife point. "You have something to do with this don't you?" Meanwhile Erica was still beside Liam she nearly falls as people kept pushing and shoving Leo was trying to calm everyone down. He catches Erica and stares at her "Stay here" Liam runs out the room towards the chambers. She grabs her phone and calls Jeremy. A few rings and he answers. "Babe did you get the diamond?" She asks. Jeremy jumps out the window landing ontop of a car, He winces "Yeah but um I'm gonna have to leave you both there sorry" She grips the phone "What?!" He hangs up. Olivia drags Staci towards Erica and glares at her. "You two follow me" The guards surrounded them both. Leading everyone towards the bed chambers. After arriving in a few minutes Liam and Leo's father is dead on the floor shot, Half the guards look for Jeremy. Leo punches the wall their mother wailing, Liam however wore a stotic expression turning towards the two women. "Dungeon. We'll deal with them after We catch the main culprit" The two large body guards and Olivia carries the two into the Dungeon, The place smells of rotten skin. They been thrown onto the floor and Staci gets up as the guards guard the door Olivia in front of them. "That fuckin weasel!" Erica smiles sitting cross legged. "He'll come for us" Olivia scoffs "Don't fool me I heard your call." Erica glares at Olivia back and the guards seperate from each other, Liam pushes Jeremy down the stairs the man winces fully bruised. "A death isn't enough" He points at Jeremy. "You'll be imprisoned here. And I'll be marrying her" He points to Erica, Erica stands up and gasps. "What?" He then looks at Staci. "You could be our spy too" Staci stays silent. "I'm just happy to not be executed" Liam snaps his fingers and the guards lift Jeremy's battered body tying him into the dungeon wall, He holds Erica's hand and Olivia glares daggers at Erica. Staci stomps her foot "What the fuck?"
Summary: Single mother Brie swears off love after getting her heart broken by her first love then she meets Chris who's determined to break down her walls and win her heart
Brie smiles as she heads back to her apartment building thinking about how Chris jumped in to save her. As she reaches her apartment building she brushes the thoughts away cause it was only one night and one conversation.
By the time she stepped into her penthouse she embraces the familiar quiet instantly. The lights were dim soft the kind of calm that only existed late at night. Brie spots Lillian still awake sitting comfortably in the living room with a cup of tea looking far too relaxed.
“Well?” Lillian asked immediately setting her cup down as she turned her full attention to Bree eyes already gleaming with curiosity.
Brie slipped off her heels with a quiet sigh setting her bag down before walking further into the room. “It was exactly what I expected,” she said “The date didn’t show.”
Lillian raises her eyebrows looking annoyed crossing her arms “He didn’t show?” she repeated unimpressed.
Brie shrugged “Saved me the trouble honestly.”
Lillian leaned back slightly, studying her more closely now. “And that’s it?” she asked her voice sounding suspicious “You just left?”
Brie hesitated.
Lillian caught it immediately.
“Oh no” she said slowly a smile beginning to form. “That’s not the whole story”
Brie exhaled running a hand through her hair as she walked past her pretending to focus on nothing “Some drunk asshole decided I looked like entertainment” she said “Didn’t take no for an answer”
Lillian frowned “What?”
“He didn’t get far” Brie added quickly “Someone stepped in”
Lillian relaxed then smiled widely “Someone? Go on”
Brie rolled her eyes “His name is Chris” she said like it didn’t matter “He handled it. We talked for a bit. That’s it.”
Lillian sat up her smile turning triumphant. “Ah,” she said softly enjoying this far more than she should. “A knight.”
Brie let out a laugh shaking her head as she crossed her arms. “He’s not a knight.”
“He stepped in didn’t he?” Lillian countered easily. “Defended you introduced himself charmed you enough that you stayed to talk instead of walking out immediately”
“I didn’t stay because of him” Bree interrupted quickly
Lillian raised a brow “Of course not”
Brie shot her a look “It doesn’t mean anything” she said more firmly “I’m not seeing him again”
Lillian leaned back completely unconvinced a hum escaping her “We’ll see.”
Brie sighed, turning away as she rubbed her forehead lightly “No we won’t” she muttered. “It was one conversation. That’s it.”
Before Lillian could respond a soft cry echoed through the quiet apartment.
Both of them froze for a split second.
Then Brie was already moving.
“Adam” she murmured under her breath as she headed to his room
The soft glow of the nightlight illuminated the space as Adam sat up in his crib his small face scrunched with distress as he cried his hands reaching out blindly. Brie moved to him without hesitation scooping him up gently holding him close as she rocked him instinctively. “Hey, hey it’s okay” she whispered softly.
Adam clung to her immediately his cries softening into hiccups as he buried his face against her shoulder. Brie swayed gently her hand rubbing slow comforting circles along his back. “I’ve got you” she murmured, pressing a soft kiss to his hair. “I’m right here.”
His breathing gradually evened out his small body relaxing against hers as the last of his cries faded into quiet whimpers. Brie stayed like that for a while not rushing not moving too quickly just holding him until she felt him fully settle. She lowered him back into the crib carefully her hand lingering on his chest for a moment, making sure he stayed asleep.
After leaving the room she turned down the hallway toward Hope’s room. Brie smiled faintly to herself. She’s still awake
She pushed the door open softly and paused
Hope was not in bed. Instead she was right in the middle of her mattress bouncing up and down laughing. Her stuffed animals were scattered everywhere and the blanket was half hanging off the side of the bed.
Brie crossed her arms slowly, leaning against the doorframe, trying failing to hide the smile creeping onto her face. “Hope.”
Hope froze mid-bounce before turning toward her eyes wide and completely unbothered by the fact that she’d clearly been caught. “Hi, Mommy!” she said brightly, like nothing was wrong.
Brie raised a brow amused “Why are you still up?”
Hope tilted her head slightly like she genuinely had to think about it. “I’m not tired,” she declared confidently bouncing once more for emphasis.
Brie pushed herself off the doorframe as she walked further into the room. “Not tired?” she repeated “It’s way past your bedtime.”
Hope flopped down dramatically onto her knees, her little face scrunching into a pout. “But I’m not sleepy” she insisted
Brie sat down on the edge of the “You were sleepy earlier” she said softly, brushing a strand of hair away from her face.
Hope huffed “That was earlier” she mumbled.
Brie couldn’t help the quiet laugh that slipped out, shaking her head slightly. “Alright,” she said “Even if you’re not sleepy your body still needs rest. Big girls who go to preschool need their sleep remember?”
“Fine” she said
Brie smiled her chest warming at the small victory. “Good choice.”
Hope crawled under the covers and Bree tucked her in
“There we go” she murmured.
Hope peeked up at her “Mommy?”
Brie leaned down slightly. “Yeah, baby?”
“You’re gonna be here when I wake up?”
She didn’t hesitate.
“Always,” she said her hand coming up to cup Hope’s cheek gently. “I’m right here.”
Hope nodded reassured her body relaxing under the blanket. Brie leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to her forehead,
“Goodnight, my love,” she whispered.
“Goodnight, Mommy,” Hope murmured back, her voice already fading as her eyes began to close.
Brie stayed there for a moment after watching as her daughter drifted off, her breathing evening out into a peaceful rhythm. The room felt still, calm, wrapped in a quiet kind of safety.
Finally Brie adjusting the blanket one last time before stepping back. She turned off the main light leaving only the nightlight on and walked toward the door and slowly closed it. Then heads to her own room

The next day after dropping Hope and Adam off Brie entered the office greeting people and heading to her floor coffee in hand. As she heads to her office she notices a familiar face talking to Ryan.
Chris.
Brie’s eyes widen as Chris notices her approaching then he smiles “Hey Brie”
“Hi what are you doing here?”
Ryan looks between the two of them “You two know each other?”
Chris nods “Met at the bar last night”
Ryan grins “Well then I don’t have to introduce you then”
Chris looks at Brie “You work here too?”
Ryan laughs “Did you forget she’s the CEO”
Chris’s eyes widen “She’s what?”
Ryan grins “I know you already know him Brie but he’s my cousin and I just got him a job here”
Brie smiles “Well good we’ll be seeing more of you around”
Chris laughs nervously “Yeah we will”
Brie smiles as she walks away Chris watching her go She’s my boss the CEO this got more complicated
The utter joy Angel heard in Luciano's loud, rambunctious cackling-laughter was stunning, and she couldn't help but watch as the tall blonde laughed at her joke
The way her eyes closed, her smile widened, her furrowed eyebrows as she brought a hand up to her mouth to compose herself...
Angel didn't know Luciano could laugh like that. She thought she'd heard the most of Luciano's glee and delight up until now, and in this moment Angel found herself wanting to hear this specific laugh more often.

It was a Sunny Afternoon And Ria a Hispanic girl was texting her girlfriend Maria Flores, Ria stands in front of the mirror trying on different dresses. She video calls Maria on the phone and her girlfriend Answers. "Dios mio does this dress make me look Abit big?" Ria says looking into the phone camera. Maria shakes her head crossing her legs. She smiles "No mi amor you look grand" Ria nods and twirls the long purple dress clings onto her waist.
"You still coming over? My dad is making spaghetti" Ria takes a seat in front of her chair and grabs her phone. Maria on the other end nervously giggles. "Yeah but my cousin Dakota is coming over too. She's been dying to meet you" Ria smiles at her girlfriend and chuckles "Oh first I met your dad's and now your cousin?" Maria sighs and rolls her eyes. "Yeah so hope you don't mind". Ria smiles at Maria "don't worry I'm ready" She hangs up.
Maria looks at her cousin Dakota who was Eavesdropping, her cousin Dakota wore jeans and short hair and a blue shirt. "So I get to meet your girlfriend? How long you two been together cuz?" Maria wore a blue dress and a hairpin. She puts on her sandals. "Three months" Dakota whistles earning a eye roll from Maria. They both head out and drive off. Meanwhile inside Rias house her Dad was making out with Mrs hawkins. Ria gags at the sight. "Dad! I'm expecting company! My girlfriend and her cousin is-" A black teenage boy with dark hair and goth clothes walks in with Emma. Her brother Jake began eating a apple while holding his girlfriend Emma's hand. Emma wore jeans a red shirt. "Really sis? Bringing your girlfriend over for Bible night?". Ria cross her arms and points at Emma "And your making out with our fathers girlfriends daughter" Jake hugs Emma close and sticks out his tongue. Their father and Mrs hawkins coughs "Enough of that" He turns to his Eldest daughter Ria and smiles "We'll set the plates" As the family began setting up plates the doorbell rings. Maria and Dakota comes in. And everyone began to eat. Maria sat by Ria and Dakota sat beside Emma and Jake, Maria hugs Ria close kissing her cheek and Dakota began doing a barfing gesture. The dinner was eventful.

As they walk out the maze and make way to where the party is being held. Liam turns to her smiling “We should blend back into our roles now until the next time Lady Riley” He kisses her hand the kiss lingering

“Prince Liam!” She gives him a bright smile
“Lady Olivia how are you doing today?”
“Just fine Liam I was hoping we could talk”
“Sorry Lady Olivia but I have many guest to greet” Liam tries to step around her but Olivia blocks his path
“But it’s really important Liam can we find somewhere quiet?”
“I would but the dinner is about to start we need to keep to time” Liam tries again to step around again but Olivia stands in they way
Olivia looks at him irritated “Keep to time? Yet you have time for Riley?”
Liam looks at her surprised “What’s that supposed to mean?”
Olivia crosses her arms “You’re always with Riley you don’t think I see you two sneaking off together?!”
“Olivia…”
“She’s from New York Liam a commoner she’s not one of us don’t you understand?” Liam grits his teeth as she continues “How can you choose her over all the noble ladies here? What’s so special about her?”
Liam looks around hoping no one heard her then leans in whispering “You may only see her status but I see beyond that”
Olivia looked at him shocked then looked down “Liam…”
“Excuse me Olivia” Liam walked around her he gritted his teeth as he walk Can’t believe her it’s my decision not hers

Riley walking to her seat overhearing Kiara and Penelope talking with Madeline she smiles as Kiara and Penelope all see how Liam is gonna choose her she almost laughs at the fact Madeline is disappointed. Riley is so lost in her thoughts she bumps right into Tariq
“Oh Tariq I apologize”
He grins “It’s nothing really Lady Riley it’s always a pleasure to see you”
Riley looks at him confused Why is he looking at me like that? She brushes off her concerns and smiles “Tariq how have you been”
“As splendid as you look my dear”
He’s being weird “Isn’t improper to compliment a suitor of Prince Liam like that?”
“I would hardly consider it improper to recognize beauty in any form”
“Uh thanks?” Why is he talking like this?
Tariq grins “It fills me with such joy to hear you say that you know I have to tell you after speaking with other ladies hear I find myself having such an appreciation for you”
“Really?”
“Yes you’re a breath of fresh New York air”
“I don’t think anyone says that”
Tariq sighs “The other suitors are absolutely boring one only talks about her dogs another merely sulks and don’t get me started on Olivia”
Riley nods “They aren’t the easiest to hang out with”
“Precisely the other suitors have good breeding wealth and manners but they’re absolutely dull how disappointing where as you Lady Riley you grow more interesting every time we speak”
“Thanks…”
“I must however take my leave may you have a fantastic evening”
Riley watches him looking confused That was weird
Maxwell walks up to her “There’s our little social star is that Tariq you were talking to?”
“Yeah I guess we’re friends now”
Maxwell nods “Cool well Bertrand and I just got a table this way”
Maxwell guides her to the table and they sit down next to Bertrand
Liam clicks his glass “If I may have everyone’s attention please I’d like to say a few words before we close this evening first I’d like to thank all of you for joining us out here at the country estate I’ve had the honor and privilege to have you in my court and I couldn’t have asked for better company as I step into my father’s place in a few days I can only hope that I’m half the man he’s been for Cordonia I’ve had the honor and privilege to have you in my court and I couldn’t have asked for better company”
Riley smiles as she claps with everyone
Liam grins “Thank you all when next we meet like this it’ll be the last event of the social season ass per tradition this even will be hosted at the illustrious Beaumont House”
Maxwell pumps his fist “Yeah!”
Bertrand grins “An honor to be sure”
Riley turns to them wide eyed and whispers “Aren’t we a little strapped for funds can we afford to host a party right now?”
Bertrand and Maxwell look at each other and sigh
Maxwell nods sadly “I’m not sure we have a choice like Liam said it’s a tradition we can’t back out”
Bertrand clenches his fists “Yes if we back out now we might as well announce in the daily paper that we’re officially ruined”
Riley nods as Liam raises his glass in a toast determined They’re right we can’t let this break us
I have a folder ( found on internet ) in my laptop full with pinecest art ( mainly doublepines ) and I can’t believe how many comics I didn’t get to see for some reason 😭
