Hello, it’s my Cake Day!

It’s also a long time since Iast posted anything. Which is saddening, I liked doing this and sharing all the fun stuff with you!

In short I’ve been keeping myself disctracted while dealing with depression and other health issues & being very much unhappy with art. I’ve been trying to counter that with some traveling, gaming and doing a 3D building project (related to submas).

I hope you have been well! I don’t know how many of you are still into submas and if my content would still interest you, I still am thinking about the guys every day but I’m also very much off the tracks because of the general lack of focus, I’m putting too much time and effort into things that don’t really pay off or make me feel better. I’m working on that again now and sort my priorities in general, hopefully that will turn out okay!

As spring rolls in, we are happy to announce another collaboration sticker project. This time we step into a mysterious tea party hosted by none other than the Subway bosses Ingo and Emmet. But hold on, our hosts are serving in their snazzy new butler outfits.

Project launches 4/19/25 at 10am PST

This is a LIMITED EDITION sticker set that will not be returning. Because of recent changes in tariffs, we also had to order these in advance and they are currently in production. However, that means there is only 30 sets of stickers that will be available to preorder.

Gaming night at Elesa’s!

Got surprisingly lots done last year despite being under the weather most of the time! Big illustrations, old WIPs, a zine comic, art collabs, physical stickers, memes & surprisingly fun character interactions!

This year I’m planning to finish FoF -illustration series, post the missing sketches from 2022-2023, share my submas HCs & reference material, do some art streaming, and introduce you to my other big ongoing submas projects! There’s loads of cool, sweet and silly stuff to look forward to so hope you enjoy the ride!

Still delighted we got the smashing sygna suits, new voice lines and two amazing official remixes of their theme!! Fingers crossed we will meet them again soon!!

Art stream rush results!!

"ALL ABOARD!!" This is very very rough, and the sound might be a little loud (as expected from our enthusiastic train man)! I want to keep working on this and try animate more submas voice lines in the future!

Expression & pose practise, comic WIP & animation practise! I hope to finish these later!!

My goal was to fulfil Twitch affiliate requirements! Twitch is being slow so it doesn't show the last stream on the list yet but I should have everything checked now!! Yippee!

I really love your art, but especially love the subtle differences you give to Emmet and Ingo. I'm not sure why, but Emmet's eyes always seem a little sharper and Ingo's eyes are a little softer

Huh, you think so?? That's interesting because that's how I feel about them or have this half-subconsciously in my mind, but I haven't really paid attention how it shows in my drawings. Except I believe I draw Emmet scowling and Ingo being surprised more more often ahah!

Ahhh they just want to help the silly twinks! How thoughtful! Idk where this quote is from or if you came up with it yourself but it's very funny ahahah!

ngl the comic with Eelektross attacking Emmet is heartbreaking on it's own. But I cannot imagine the level of guilt and sadness Eelektross has when he snaps out of it and realizes that he hurt and almost killed his trainer he'd be so sad and guilty.

But honestly despite everything it's good it isn't Ingo with Chandelure. Given she's a ghost type she could kill Ingo with little effort by burning off his soul and/or life essence. And the guilt would be just as severe.

Honestly regardless of who, a Pokemon possessed killing off their beloved trainer always is heartbreaking to imagine.

Exactly this!! In this official comic piece about the twins you can see Emmet holding his sync pair Eelektross up in his arms (I love this so much, seeing submas show physical affection officially!!). The sygna suit represents the strength of the bond between the trainer and their Pokémon. Both of these are clear marks of great trust between each other! So yes, poor Eelektross would never do this & would feel horrible about hurting his beloved trainer for any reason! Also good point about Chandelure! Ingo would be doomed to become a walking corpse very fast if he didn't have any other Pokémon to protect him. And same in this case, Ingo wouldn't be wearing the sygna suit if his bond with Chandelure wasn't pretty much perfect so pitting them in a life and death battle against each other would be awfully tragic! I admit I enjoy putting my favourite characters into all sorts of challenging/dangerous situations and watching how they deal with them. However I'm not too fond of killing off characters myself, so despite the situation looking dire in the comic there is a glint of hope!

Asking all of you, how do you feel about possessed characters getting violent/attacking their friends in general?

My sense of humor is usually a little lame in comparison to other talented folks in the fandom. I don’t think I come off as a particularly fun person so I’m always thrilled to see when it clicks!
