@cheesecake-bich ok so i dont make a reblog chain in an unrelated post, ive made several deranged rants about how compelling depth charge and dinobot (as in season 1 dinobot, not tm2 frankenstein clone dinobot) would go hard as a ship. they compel me. i think 2 guys who die tragically would go well together. ive been off and on writing a fic about them for a while but mostly i just like to talk about what i think their dynamic wouldve been like. theres like one piece of ship art for them that wasn't made by me im pretty sure

the funniest part is that ive been recognized more than once on other social media (most recently in a tiktok comment) as the dinobot x depthcharge guy which is just absurdly funny to me

oh yeah other news, my beast wars obsession has metastasized into a general 90s mainframe obsession, i got really into reboot. its actually absurdly good, the writing is amazing, the show has some fucking devastating moments followed up by some of the most gut wrenching moments ever this shit sticks the knife in and twists it, then starts prison shanking you by season 3

it also features a lot of the same VAs from beast wars, so occasionally you'll just hear optimus primals VA garry chalk or scott mcneil show up (they play hack n slash in season 3-4) and youll do a double take its great

We did technically get some new lore through the first Rescue Bots zine and the bots slowly getting legacy toys
