For those of you with iPhones, there’s a brand new tool on the App Store that speeds up your songwriting process!

Like an artist needs a painting palette, a songwriter needs a Chord Palette! This is a simple but powerful tool for songwriters and musicians, perfect for coming up with chord progressions. Simply choose a key to present a palette of chords in that key. Choose up to two custom chords. When tapped, each chord is played by a grand piano and illustrated in the visual. Also included are buttons for snaps and muting. Created by songwriters, for songwriters.

Pretty helpful stuff for brainstorming and coming up with the right progression to express your lyrics. It’s free if you wanna try it out!
