Praxis is defined as the process by which a theory, lesson, or skill is enacted, practiced, embodied, or realized. During the 2012 Chautauqua Season, the Athenaeum Hotel will host three PRAXIS events: “1884”, “Community”, and “Painted”. All of these menus were conceptualized by Executive Chef Ross Warhol.

“Painted” Modernist and molecular culinary technics will be used to interpret the works and lives of the world’s most cherished artists. Ingredients will be plated as if the artist painted it.
