Jokes aside, heres a bit of lore i have for some of my ocs! (Some which aren't even introduced or drawn properly by me yet)

Roter : She's best friends with Sasha and is probably the only one that Sasha doesn't cover her face around often. Also Roter is one of the very respected member of the crew. As how she got into candle cove? This is pretty much still being worked on by me and i have NO IDEA if i actually want to include this or not but prior to Roter's actual development i thought of
"Oh what if there was like this uhh this person who was hospitalized and their nurse was basically somebody they rlly trusted due to how long she's been in the hospital and uhhh something happens and that person gets dragged into candle cove with their memories WIPED OUT due to the impact, like kind of how Janice got dragged into candle cove despite not having her memories wiped out."
So yeah originally she was a very much real person before the events of candle cove buttttt at the same time idrk if i want to go with that storyline..
If I don't use that backstory ill probably stick to she grew up in the kingdom of Prussia (The kingdom before the German Empire) and turned to the pirate life el o el
Roter is the first-mate of the crew, knowing what she's doing and is well respected by the crew. She knows how to play multiple instruments and is at the same time, the musician of the crew, just to lighten the mood up during tough times (despite her not being a very bright person herself๐).
-She can combat (regardless if she had a melee weapon, ranged, or fighting with fists)
-Despite being seen as a somewhat scary and grumpy person, can be trusted with secrets, therefore the crew trusts her
-Can play a lot of instruments. Which instruments specifically? I'll work on that later๐๐
-She helps out the team a lot, not that the team by itself isn't doing a lot already, she's just one of the members that is holding the crew together
-She's sometimes stubborn
-She can get easily sick (Factors that cause her sickness is currently unknown....because i haven't written anything abt it yet but shhh๐คซ)
Idk whatelse tbh, every single of my candle cove ocs are still heavily being worked on and some things may be added removed, or changed๐ฅฒ

Uhhh pretty much the crew prefers her with her mask on except for like the chef and Roter and the captain. Honestly idk what else to say, shes actually friendly to her own crew, just seen as spooky because of her appearance... And other things. Honestly idk whatelse, she designed majority of the crew's outfit and kept them locked up in her own little storage crate to herself because she thinks most of their outfits are mid (except for those who have seen her designs and agreed to having it made cough cough Roter, captain, and some others). Deadly afraid of the skintaker for both what he is and his GOD AWFUL TASTE IN FASHION. His STINKY SEWN CAPE AND HAT. She would NOT want to ever see him in sight EVER AGAIN
Long story short he used to work under Earl of Wax (NPHC) but actually ran away and turned to piracy after hunting pirates killed his brother in the process (and after finding out how cruel the Earl was) and uh he's wiki Poppy no.2/hj but he had a wife and son but his son died to a disease and his wife is still alive out there waiting for him to return ๐ sometimes he visits but only for short amounts of times. Further details will be written later.
Trusts Roter a lot because they bonded and had a lot in common. And also Sasha (on time he saw Sasha's design sketch of his outfit and was like "Oh yeah this is pretty nice" like when baby Groot gave Rocket a drawing in Marvel and went along with it)
Yes that is a colonial wig๐ And yes he ran off with it when he abandoned the NPHC for the pirate life.
Wanda (the siren chef girl) : SHE HAS A NAME NOW!! Most of the lore was already written in her introduction post and I don't have any facts for her rn ๐ฅฒ Mostly because i havent finished building the crew members therefore interactions and in depth lore for each character is very unlikely at the moment

The Blistering Barnacles crew is pretty much neutral on everything, or at least that's how THEY wanna portray themselves. Scared as crap about the Skin-taker and his potential to cause harm not only on Candle Cove but their own crew. Although a few members don't believe he exists (still)๐. They are always minding their own business. Although they aren't really aware that the Laughingstock and the Rubberfishes have beef
And tbh IF they met the Rubberfishes first they would probably be on their side not only for developing great friendships between both parties but also because they think it might get the Skin-taker to want them dead...less because the Skin-taker is with/on Horace and his crews side ๐ and maybe they'd actually listen to The Rubberfishes requests, so unless those requests are crossing the line, they are siding with the Rubberfishes.
As for individual oc and canon interactions uhhhhhh
Wanda has met Susan and thinks she's awesome. Feels bad that she's chained to the rock for eternity though. To make her feel less lonely she probably visits once in a while to like talk or maybe she wants to give a gift.
I was thinking of making a "what (insert one of my ocs) thinks of (EACH member of laughingstock/rubberfishes) but thats for the future since i havent really worked on it
As for future plans for the Candle Cove fandom?
Oh boy when i get to Summer break trust me i will be COOKING UP CONTENTTT mostly edits and animations but ive already got plenty of idea for a few characters suejalekaoaksbjwosp
