I'm so touched you're concerned. But it was just a nap.

Did ya just wake up from a nap, or should I be worried?
I'm so touched you're concerned. But it was just a nap.
Thought not.
Wait does that mean I missed something?
Is there ever a time when you arenât missing something?
Mmm.. No.Â
What's happening?
I see you've made yourself very familiar with the couches, Chris. Worry not, as long as you obey me, you'll never have to move your finger as much as a centimeter if not by your own will.
Oh, that sounds absolutely brilliant. I'll be over here waiting for you then.
Lying is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off [Group Para]
It was with great excitement that Eric burst into the rec room of the Institute. The seven of them had been trapped in the awful place for just over a year, which meant it had been just over a year since heâd had the chance to go to a casino or even get in a game of black jack. He knew his parents would be thrilled to hear of such news, but it was driving Eric up the wall.Â
Heâd attempted to find other things to indulge in many times, though most often he came up short. Heâd tried stuffing his face with whatever he could find in the kitchen. Heâd tried going swimming in the freezing cold water for hours on end each day. There were even times where heâd nearly given in and indulged in the dirty habits he swore heâd never succumb to. Unfortunately, nothing compared to the thrill of gambling, so when Hayden proposed strip poker, Eric leaped at the chance. Sure, it wasnât exactly the same, but he would take what he could get.
Eric walked proudly into the room and crashed into one of the empty seats around the table. âEveninâ kids.â He greeted the four in front of him. âI hope youâre all ready to undress, because Iâm a bit of a pro.â He flashed a toothy grin and made himself comfortable.
By the time Chris got there, most of the others had already arrived. He walked in grandiosely with his arms spread out and declared, "Ladies and gentlemen, I have arrived." Chris gave a short bow and sat down in one of the free chairs.
He didn't know how to play strip poker- in fact, he didn't even know how to play poker. But how hard could it be? If he won, others would strip for him. If he lost, then he would strip for the others. A win-win situation in Chris' opinion.
Settling into his seat, Chris gazed around the room. Although they've spent a year together in the institution, Chris hardly knew them. For some he barely knew their names. But strip poker would be a wonderful way of introducing themselves again. "Who are we waiting for?"Â

Alicia rolled her eyes at Chris before sending a simple nod in Ericâs direction, a slightly annoyed air surround her after the sudden, and certainly not enjoyable interruption that Chris had chimed in with. Granted she was pleased that Chris had at least decided to show up, but in her eyes he was still not pulling enough weight around to support his end of the team.
"So itâs fairly evident than the three of us donât want to be here together." Alicia said boldly, although her facial expression remained thoroughly disinterested, she had decided it was best to address the problem they were facing before they got to far into the task and it all fell apart. "But we have instructions from someone who we canât exactly turn down, which means weâre going to have to pull together."
"I canât speak for Chris, but what I do know Eric, is that we were split into groups for a reason, regardless of whether or not you believe you can do this on your own, Iâm going to stick around and help because I donât want any of this to get fucked up when we are so close to finally getting the answers weâve all been looking for.â With that comment Alicia nodded her head towards the nearest door as if to urge that they get a move on. âWe donât want to get caught now, do we?â
Sliding his hand down his back pocket, Chris yawned and gave no notice of hearing what the others had said to him. "So," he waved his free hand around, "Anyone come up with a plan or something?" Chris wasn't too worried about the task; Lucifer knew that he was somewhat of a lazy slob, so he must have had a good reason to pick Chris for the first group. They would just have to see what it was.
He walked to the nearest door and pulled it open without a care. Luckily, there were no guards nearby. The others must be doing their job well then. Chris walked through the door without holding it open for the ones behind him. Although he wasn't sure if he was following them, he didn't bother to look back.Â
When he heard the door open, he asked, "Remind me where the docks are again?"Â
I found a piece of gum in my room
Chris⌠You did didnât you?!
Yea, ok so I did.Â
I found a piece of gum in my room
You didnât eat it did you?
What? No, no, course not.
I found a piece of gum in my room
I'm actually not sure how old this is.Â

Attention fellow residents:
I have decided to orchestrate a little game of poker, for the good of the group. It is important to keep our minds stimulated after all. Anyone whoâs up for some fun join me in the rec room in twenty minutes. Oh and did I mention it the rules are going to be a little more scandalous than usual? Thatâs right, get ready for some strip poker.
You can always count me in for a game of strip poker.

Alicia had been laying in her bed preparing herself for another sleepless night staring up at the now all too familiar white walls and matching ceiling of her bedroom, if you could even call it that, but it had seemed Lucifer had decided to interrupt her plans with not just a task that would of been challenging enough alone, but a task that came with a requirement of working with a team, something that Alicia had always struggled with. Her parents had called it selfishness, she had claimed it was independence.
Alicia hissed and rolled her eyes as she collided with another idiotic late night wanderer, didnât they realise this was a shared door? Just as she was about to snap at her unknown assailant she heard a familiar, if not slightly grating voice. âWell tonight must be your lucky night Eric, seeing as you were literally able to run into me on your first try.â Alicia smiled wickedly at him in return.
Alicia could almost feel the tension in the air, it wasnât that she didnât get along with Eric, but despite agreeing with Lucifer, placing two people who werenât so well known for being team players seemed ridiculous in her eyes. âI take it you havenât found Chris yet?â Her tone was quiet yet scathing as she addressed her team mate.
"Here I am." He called out from the other end of the hallway. "I wasn't going to get out of bed, but you know when Big Daddy calls, Big Daddy calls." Chris walked slowly towards the other two. He never had problems working with others, he mused, they figured out quite quickly that he would never contribute to the cause and they would take matters into their own hands.
Keeping his distance, Chris leaned against the wall beside the door and smiled mischievously, "Ready?" For some reason, Chris felt that he would actually try to help the others- even if it was just a little bit. It was probably the fact that the Devil was talking to them and ordering them around.
Chris felt the stiffness in the air between Alicia and Eric. Pouting, he said, "You guys don't have any sexual tension between the two of you do you? If you do you can go ahead and sort it out. I'll stay here and wait, or.. I can join you?" Chris wiggled his eyebrows before pushing himself off the wall with a smirk.Â
I don't know why everyone is complaining
Oh yeah, positively gorgeous.
I know right?
I don't know why everyone is complaining
Oh, no, of course, Chris. Whatâs not to love about you? You and your simplicity, sense of humour⌠I wish I could non-deal with my problems like you do yours. Ugh.
Good to know you appreciate the sentiment. I wish I could do the same, but I donât know what I want. Why do you think Iâve got the ridiculous dark circles under my eyes? They give me too much time to think here, and I keep contradicting myself in my mind.
Ah, I see. Thinking is always a problem. I like to only think when necessary.Â
I don't know why everyone is complaining
You seriously like it here?
The way I see it, this is a lifetime of vacation.Â
