Are you sure? You seem upset, honey.
Yeah, I'm fine, just processing some stuff. You know. All part of being the mature and functioning adult that I became.
TEXT ✉ CRISSCOLFER.
DARREN: And you've known my feelings toward Will. They're both bound to us by contract. What do you expect me to do?
CHRIS: I don't know, Darren. Be more aware! Not be in a locked trailer with her!
TEXT ✉ CRISSCOLFER.
DARREN: Is that a new rule? We're not allowed to be around people who want to fuck us?
CHRIS: No, but someone who constantly tries to and constantly tries to ruin our relationship? I don't like it. I don't like her. You know this. You've known this for a long time.
TEXT ✉ CRISSCOLFER.
DARREN: She's a friend. It is what it is. Alright?
DARREN: Fine.
CHRIS: A friend who wants to fuck you. But fine. Alright. Whatever.
Hey.. you okay?
Yep, fine, peachy, couldn't be better.
TEXT ✉ CRISSCOLFER.
DARREN: Oh, fuck you. You're sounding more and more like a hypocrite with every venomous word you're throwing my way. /I'm/ Mr. "high and mighty"? Hilarious.
DARREN: NOTHING. FUCKING. HAPPENED.
DARREN: I'm not going to do this. Not today.
CHRIS: A hypocrite? At least I listened. At least I'm trying to figure it out so you don't have to look at him every single day. It's not a fast process.
CHRIS: Fine, nothing happened. Whatever. I still don't like that the door was locked with her in there.
CHRIS: Fine.
TEXT ✉ CRISSCOLFER.
DARREN: Your informing sounded a lot like an accusation.
DARREN: Well, if I have to get the fuck over it, so do you.
CHRIS: Oh, I'm sorry, mister high and mighty.
CHRIS: I never said you had to get the fuck over it. I'm trying to fix it. Okay? AND SHE WAS IN THERE WITH YOU WITH THE DOOR LOCKED. I AM NOT GETTING OVER THAT.
TEXT ✉ CRISSCOLFER.
DARREN: I didn't fucking know it was locked! What does it matter, anyway? Don't you trust me?
CHRIS: I'm just informing you that it was. It matters because you two were alone and I don't trust her! I trust you Darren, but I don't trust her. I never have and never will.
TEXT ✉ CRISSCOLFER.
DARREN: Well, I didn't lock it.
DARREN: Are you fucking kidding me? Will's with you in your trailer 80% of the time! In fact, he's attached to your fucking hip 100% of the time. Don't be a hypocrite.
CHRIS: Well, it was locked and she was inside.
CHRIS: In an unlocked trailer that anyone can come in to at any point.
TEXT ✉ CRISSCOLFER.
DARREN: My door being locked? Huh? No, it wasn't. It's never locked.
DARREN: And don't start with me about that, Chris.
CHRIS: Funny, it was sure as hell locked when I tried to go in.
CHRIS: Start what? Start on the fact that you and your ex were in a locked trailer together?
TEXT ✉ CRISSCOLFER.
DARREN: Hey, handsome. Missed you this morning.
CHRIS: Well, I tried to see you, but there was a little problem of your trailer door being locked. Besides, it looked like you had some pleasant company anyway

Darren’s face twisted when Chris began to maneuver his fingers through the gel. “Ow,” he winced, but kissed back and tilted his head into the water to get the sticky substance to give. “Sure,” he answered. Darren loved having his hair washed, played with, tugged on. It didn’t matter. It was soothing to him. Darren liked facing Chris while he washed his hair. The water made the lean expanse of Chris’ back slippery. The ripple of his muscles were easier felt under the stream. The moan that came from Darren was half from satisfaction and half from the thought of feeling Chris’ muscles. “I don’t like fighting with you,” he murmured after a minute, letting his lips fall on Chris’ collarbone for a moment. Darren reached for the body wash, flipping the cap open and pouring a generous amount into his palm. The water activated the wash and he lathered it onto Chris body. “I don’t like fighting and I don’t like frowning because it gives me a headache,” he continued, running his soapy hands along his fiancés sides. They ceased when they reached his hips and he leaned up to kiss Chris. “And seeing Will also gives me a headache, but I guess I need to stop putting all the blame on you. Put my personal feelings aside. We were always told not to mix our personal lives with our professional ones.”
Chris' eyes slid shut for a moment, feeling his fiance's lips on his collarbone. He smiled and moved his head brushing his lips against Darren's temple. "I don't like fighting with you, either." he breathed out as Darren began lathering the body wash onto him. He breathed out softly, loving the feel of his fiance's hands on his body. Grabbing the shampoo he uncapped it, "Eyes closed, sweetheart." He squeezed some onto his hands and began to softly run his fingers through Darren's hair as he washed it. "I hate seeing you frown or just be upset in general, it's not a good look for you." He continued to run his fingers through Darren's hair and felt his hands stop as his hips. He squirmed a bit and smiled as he kissed back, his fingers running from his hair and wrapping his arms around him. "I promise anything with Will is strictly professional. And you know I can't just put your feelings aside, I love you way too much to do that." His fingers moved back into Darren's hair, "Head back so I can rinse out the shampoo," he murmured, kissing his nose quickly, and giving him a small smile. "Besides, you're the one that keeps me sane. Or doesn't question me when I act like an idiot, half the time you join me." He placed a soft kiss to his jaw, "So you come first. Well now it you and the little one."
Okay.. what do I like about myself?? Hard question. I honestly have no idea.
That's something only you can figure out.
chrisp-colfer:
We’ll see about that. You seem to be forgetting that I’m the king of multitasking. You’ll have a tally by the end of it. Don’t you worry.
Oh, we will definitely see about that. You and I both know that I can drive you crazy.
If that’s what you want, dear.
Ugh! You know that'd never last. Fine, whatever. I'll just blow your mind and make you forget about me swearing.
I am not really confident sigh
Then this is something we should change. I used to not be confident in myself until I found one thing I loved about who I was. I then worked to better myself about other things I liked but didn't love. I made myself into someone I like now. That's what you should do. Think and figure out things you like or love about yourself. A small quirk, something about how you look that you love. It can be anything. Then work from there.
Yeah, no. Good try, but you’re not getting out of this.
Then there's one simple solution. No sex.
