1) Unlearn what was taught to you

2) Learn what was never taught to you

I remember saying/doing something problematic not too long ago. This guy just went off on me, called me stupid, and vaguely explained why what I did was problematic. When I asked for a more in-depth answer as to why it was an issue, he didnt want to explain, he didnt have the “energy” to explain but had plenty of energy to say what i did was wrong and i was stupid to do it.

To this day, I STILL dont know exactly what was wrong but I am avoiding that action for sure.

I got kicked out of a tumblr group here that I loved because I asked a genuine curious question because I wanted to learn. As a result, I was labeled transphobic, kicked out of the group, and blocked. Still don't quite understand but all I learned was it isn't ok to ask questions or else you'll lose your "friends" and be shamed when all you wanted to do was understand.

How about all you people attacking third party voters, actually practice what you preach with respecting people's right to vote. Your hipocasy is appalling. How about you take a moment to actually ask why people voted third party & recognize that people think differently. By you attacking third party voters, you acknowledge that every vote does matter. You acknowledge that somehow we decided the election. But here's the thing, we voted our conscience. Whether you agree with it or not, we voted our conscience. You should never attack another person for doing that & shame on you for ever having those words exit your mouth. For some of us, we were faced with an impossible choice. And we chose-not to vote neutral but extend our voice to say that we don't want either major party candidate. No we want a different candidate. That's not neutral. That's a choice. We voted. And our voice mattered. I refuse to only vote for someone who I think can be a winner & be a sheep of the masses. That's what is wrong with our country. Stand up America and vote your values. That cost her WI. She didn't even try to get our votes. She has no one to blame but herself when there were many democrats in the state telling her that WI wasn't clear cut.
