Rinko wrung her hands, and a certain numbness spread throughout her body and tingled the tips of her fingers. The voices around her felt deafening, yet she couldn’t seem to process anyone’s words. With every shallow inhale, the feeling of paralysis continued to consume her, and her limbs trembled just a bit as she struggled to regain her composure. Wherever Rinko looked, she only saw more and more people, and she felt as if she were suffocating or shrinking. From the corners of her eyes, tears finally begun to well.

Rinko ducked her head and pressed her hands to her chest. It’s scary, it’s scary. How could she escape when her body refused to move? She squished her eyes shut.

Day 4: Birthdays/Hope

Fourth one shot for @oumasaiweek! I decided to focus more on birthdays rather than hope because it’s Ouma’s birthday and what better way to celebrate his birthday than write a birthday one shot?

So, the fluff comes closer to the end, as the first half of this focuses on Shuichi rushing to the grocery store at six thirty in the morning to buy ingredients for breakfast XD

Day 6: Alternate Universe/Talentswap

Sixth post for @oumasaiweek! Gosh, this took me a century to write…

I decided on doing alternate universe. The AU is a Medieval Japan one with emperors and empresses. Kokichi is the empress (reasons why he is considered an empress and not an emperor will be talked about in the one shot) and Shuichi is his bodyguard.

I also had two different endings planned out for this, but decided to go with having them elope because it was the least angsty one out of the three possible endings.

Title: Abandonment of the Throne

Summary: Kokichi Ouma has had to live as his dead sister, Fumiko Ouma, his whole life. He’s had his life dictated for him, even the person he is to wed was picked by his parents. However, when he finds love in the form of his bodyguard, Shuichi Saihara, he will stop at nothing to get what he wants. Even if it means bending the rules.

Day 7: Post-Game/Confessions

Final post for @oumasaiweek! Ugh, this thing is one day late AND was a total monster to write. I wanted so many things to happen in this that by the time I finished it, Oumasai Week already ended XD

So, this is a mix of post-game and confessions with the confession piece coming close to the end. The very beginning of this may make you think that it’s still in-game, but I can assure you right now that this one-shot takes place after the events of NDRV3. I am also dabbling into the AU where the killing game took place in a simulation, so nobody actually died (it’s my fave one because I like to believe that none of my children actually died).

After I post this, I will get started on posting all the one shots I did on AO3! I’ll compile them into a collection of one shots and then reblog each post with the link attached.

Title: Stay

Summary: It’s been two years since the fifty third season of Danganronpa came to an end. It’s also been two years since Shuichi took Kokichi in and let him stay at his apartment. It also takes Shuichi one night to realize that all these emotions he’s felt towards the former supreme leader are more than just pure curiosity.

After The Storm Fades Away (Oumasai)

Oumasai “I thought I lost you” kisses one-shot for Anon! First of all, I want to apologize for how long it took for me to get this written out for you. What I had planned for this one turned out to be more complicated than it should have been and wound up being over 9,000 words (*sweats*). Also, life has just not been my friend recently and I’ve been swamped with homework, my part-time job, and other nonsense.

But, I’m pretty satisfied with how this turned out! Some scenes were pretty emotional and I started getting emotional as I wrote them (especially the last scene). I will warn you, though, that the kiss doesn’t crop up until the last scene, so I hope you’re okay with reading 8k+ words of drama and build-up before getting to that kiss.

Summary: Shuichi awakens from the simulation after the final trial finishes and little by little, he’s getting better. However, he can’t help but worry about the condition of a certain former supreme leader…

One-Shot Notes: Keebo is a human (this gets touched on in the one-shot, but is never really explained); many of the other students make an appearance, including some characters from DR1 and SDR2; this is an AU where the killing game took place in a simulation and nobody actually died; while the in-game events follow the general canon story line, there are some things that were added or altered/changed (ex. Kokichi going into Kaede’s lab with Shuichi after her execution)

Warning(s): Language (Shuichi drops the f bomb in some spots; just letting you know right now!), NDRV3 spoilers (read at your own risk!), LOADS of drama and angst, some death ideation (Shuichi talks a little about wanting to die during the second half of this, so if that makes you uncomfortable, then skip from “Well, Saihara-kun, it’s time for lunch. You should come out and eat.” to “…At least think about it, okay?”)

Sequel to He Doesn’t Need to Know for @linabigface! First of all, I want to apologize for how long it has taken me to write this out. It was a lot of writing and then deleting and then writing a couple of lines before scrapping an entire scene (I even had to redo the one-shot in its entirety at some point XD). But, I think that it came together in the end.

Title: Now He Knows

Summary: Shuichi’s begun to notice some changes in Kokichi. While they were subtle, they were certainly concerning. He’ll try and talk with him about it soon, he told himself. But, he clearly wasn’t expecting this, nor was he expecting Kaede to be right. ———– Kokichi can sense that Shuichi’s catching onto him. He thought he was being subtle enough, but he guessed that wasn’t the case. He’ll try to stop drawing unnecessary attention to himself, he told himself. But, how can he do that when Shuichi knows everything now?

One-Shot Notes: This is the sequel to He Doesn’t Need to Know; I didn’t mention this in the previous one-shot, but Kokichi works at the same place as Kaito and Maki; Kaito, Maki, Kaede, Rantaro, Keebo, and Miu make an appearance in this one-shot; I do not promote self harm in any way, shape, or form; Kokichi’s thoughts are in italics while the “voices” in his head are in bold italics

See You on the Other Side (1/5)

Part one of five of my Saiouma Day one-shot! There is a reason that this is getting broken up into five parts; I will get to that in the notes.

So, this will be a soulmates AU with my own twists put in place. For some reason, I wanted to do something involving angst with a happy ending, so that’s how this idea came about. It wound up being more complicated than I originally thought XD

Title: See You on the Other Side

Summary: The world works as such: everyone has a soulmate that they must find before either one of them dies. If one of them dies, the other person will become stuck in a loop, starting from a specific moment in time. However, the soulmate indicator changes each time and gradually becomes harder to recognize. This will continue until they find their soulmate.

In a situation as dangerous as the killing game, Shuichi Saihara has no time to bother with finding a soulmate. But, when he sees a mark on the supreme leader’s neck that looks eerily similar to his soulmate mark, he can’t help but grow curious about it…

Notes: This is a mashup of both soulmate and time loop AUs; there are many rules that are put into place in this particular universe (I’m going to put up a set of rules for this universe shortly after this is uploaded); some parts will be longer than others due to how much content needs to be covered (particularly Loop #4); after the Love Hotel scene between Shuichi and Kokichi, Shuichi is actually able to recall small bits and pieces from it; it is implied that they slept together coming close to the end of the Love Hotel scene

Caught You by Surprise, Didn’t I? (Day 2: Anniversary)

So, today’s prompt is anniversary and I went with the obvious: them celebrating their anniversary. But, that doesn’t happen until it gets closer to the end because there ends up being some…conflict. It’s not a major conflict, though, so there’s no need to panic or anything.
