The Royals 4x07: Forgive Me This My Virtue

Okok, so I think Willow and Robert are cute. Do I think they’re compatible? Mmm, not really! I think she’s so genuine and kind...which is the opposite of Robert. I’d be sold if he wasn’t still up to his snake ways. He gets it from mum’s side I guess lol.

Willow gets a crash course in royal maneuvering 101. Future queens have a dazzling back story and set fashion trends.

The Royals 4x06: My News Shall Be The Fruit…

LOVED this episode. So many great outfits and plot twists! Happy Jaspenor is so stinkin’ cute. Len is so bad with sayings and phrases and Jasper’s just like “nice try babe.”

The Royals 4x04: Black As His Purpose…

We are three badass bitches. Four if you count Sara Alice...without the bitch part.

Last week’s episode left us with a blackout, Robert suspiciously counting down to the lights going off, and Jasper in an ambulance on the way back to the palace. Naturally, I think Robert is trying to kill Jasper part 2, but I think it was more of a power move to gain the public’s trust and twist the Prime Minister’s arm. I’ll give him brownie points for going to find Jasper. 

Who’s the shady skeeze breaking into the ambulance? Oh, it’s Jasper’s dad! How the plot thickens...!

What’s ol’ Papa Frost doing here in London? He just wants to see his son. Or he saw his son on TV and thought he could cash in on a royal fat paycheck.

Queen Helena and Cyrus wind up in their fav place -- the wine cellar. But so does Helena’s mom??

I forgot she poisoned a girl’s horse to get Helena next in line to be queen. It’s almost as if the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

They play truth or truth and I guess the characters gain some closure from it. Like 2% closure. 

Cyrus’s phone call was about his cancer. He’s in remission! Happy Easter, loyals. Cyrus is risen...and he hates it.

Look, if you have to force a city-wide blackout to look the knight in shining armor...u tryin too hard

But it worked ok. OKAY ROB? I ate it up like cake. Maybe it was the leather jacket and your motorcycle...but you look damn good as the people’s king.

Her royal grand-highness is having a love affair with the Count of Italy. 

BUT IT’S JASPER’S DAD. HE’S THE COUNT. HE KNOWS LITERALLY 3 ITALIAN WORDS. 

Not the best con man, but I guess her royal grand-highness was mucho desperado.

Oh, and Greta found out about Liam’s undercover shenanigans and drowns herself in wine and self-pity. Totally forgot that was a side plot in this ep. That’s how much of a snooze Greta is.

How is Jasper going to explain his dad to everyone lol

Does Robert even bother with the list now that his #1 choice is down to be his bride?

One of Kilgrave’s most innocuous yet insidious orders is “smile.” It’s repeated throughout the first season, and the name of the finale. Any woman knows the loaded meaning of smile. It’s a seemingly simple, even friendly request uttered by so many men in public spaces, that its essentially demanding like Kilgrave is. While this instance was for a forged document and something small, it gives Jessica a chance to open up both physically and in the narrative.

what did you think of jessica jones season 2? Did you like it better than season 1? I binge watched 7 episodes as well..

I loved every moment of it! I just finished season 2 the other night. It was heartbreaking to see Jessica’s flashbacks, but it gave Alias Investigations and her black leather jacket a whole new meaning. I’m sad she reunited with her mom only to lose her again. But now Jessica is actually trying to let people in and finding her happiness instead of isolating herself with a bottle of bourbon every night. Also I love the dynamic cast. Hogarth is prob a new fav of mine.

Season 1 was sorta slow because Kilgrave wasn’t revealed till way later. I think I like season 2 better :)

Queen Helena is taking the blame for her crazy kids though. When she re-hashes the events of past season, I can’t help but nod my head in agreement. You did emotionally traumatize your kids while they grieved their father and brother, so yeah Liam’s crazy is on you.

QUESTION....is that a new actor playing Colin? I’m not about it. He ain’t as cute.

I like this chick. Cold and calculated is my type! I hope she sticks around. She looks like fun (in a bad-guilty-pleasure way).

Obv Willow is interested in Robert. Who wouldn’t be? He’s king, he wears 3-piece suits, he has a charming accent...he buys you Chinese takeout late at night. Getting carried away...reminder: he’s a snake

Eleanor opts for the good-good situation and does charity work as a cover-up for being in the hospital so often. Cover-up is a poor choice of words. She really does want to make a difference! It just so happens she can visit Jasper at the same time :)

Two types of guys? Idk. This was just funny to me.

Len puts together a dance for a girl in the hospital. Supa cute, supa in my middle school feels

And right when they start loading Jasper into the van, we see Robert counting down to a citywide blackout. With a picture of his mom and Colin on his laptop.
