I had this dream today where I was super annoyed and - just all around sad because the people around me where breaking moral code and it did not sit right with me at all - so i decided not to eat with them and instead sat down and ate with another group of people yet i still found myself in a group of individuals who just werent like minded. But like out of the no where I see this girl with a shirt that had like her churches name on it or something (she had so much joy radiating from her it was funny to see bc me and her both knew she came to me with a purpose) and she came up to me and she intuitively knew i wasnt in good shape, my spirits where down and idk what happened exactly but all i remember is she started praying over me and declaring and she made me shout all these powerful declarations with her - things such as “I WILL PROSPER, I AM POWERFUL, I AM CREATIVE, I AM MORE THAN ENOUGH, I CAN DO ANYTHING IN JESUS NAME, I AM WHO I AM BY THE GRACE OF GOD” and so on and my spiritual energy level went from 2% to 100%... Now I dont know if I will meet her one day or sometime soon? Idk. I’ve met people I’ve dreamt of before and this feels the same way. Either way I get it - I need to shape my future with my declarations. I’ll start being vocal about what I want and what I want to see. Our God created everything with the power of his voice and I think its only natural for me as his daughter to follow in those footsteps.

Can we please stop associating being a good person with how much you're willing to suffer in silence for other people? You can be a kind person and still say "no, I don't have the time/energy to help you with that." You can be a kind person and still say "this makes me uncomfortable, please stop." You can be a kind person and still say "I disagree and here's why." You can be kind and still say "I'm not okay with this." Being kind is about treating people with kindness and respect, not about being the human equivalent of a doormat!

being a nice person means you must also remember you matter, so be nice to yourself! you got to hold your head up high, love your soul by setting strong boundaries to protect it and be confident in what you stand for. take up space! be unapologetically you. nice means confident, calm and in control, not “yes man” or “doormat” but “i will do as i see fit”.
