I decided to check out the original cast reunion of falsettoland and OMFG. HOW HAVE I NEVER HEARD THIS STORY BEFORE 😭.
Michael Rupert- "There's one time where it happened -(they were talking about how with falsettos as it's sung through getting back on track once you break is difficult)- with Steve and I in the racquetball scene.. there's a part where whizzer turns to Marvin and sings "Play it raw don't play pretty sex and games in new York city" and I don't know where Steve's head was at but Stephen was also great at making up lyrics that rhymed and he turned back at me and said "play it raw don't play pretty go ahead and pet my kitty."

I was watching different productions of falsettos yesterday because its fun and I found a falsettoland production by trinity college (the same college that made that in trousers production we've all watched) and it's one of my favourite productions I've seen and I'm giving some reasons why and also why you should check it out as well ;)
•Whizzvin kiss ON THE LIPS❗❗ In what more can I say :D
•ALSO. The lesbians have a kiss of the lips aswell during the baseball game which is adorable
•Slide. THE SLIDE MAKES A RETURN MFS❗ I love the stupid slide
•The girl who played Trina in the in trousers production plays her here :D
•Marvin reading a book during the baseball game 💀
•Whizzer brought a blanket with him to the baseball game and when Marvin tries touching his hair he just throws it over his hair to stop him (this made me laugh)
•Marvins goofy pink shorts during the racquetball games
•During holding to the ground Trina gets some water for whizzer and brings Charlotte in to help him 😭
•Whizzers cane. During you gotta die sometime and Jason's bar mitzvah whizzer uses a cane to help him move around and stand he also falls a couple times which shows he's struggling to hold his weight (it irritated me in productions of the show that whizzer even though he's immensely weak and ill would just move as easily as he did before he came in hospital so I'm glad they showed him struggling here).
•Jason and whizzers little interactions during Jason's bar mitzvah 😭 they're adorable
•Trust me here this production is so good check it out the cast play the characters amazingly and they're so talented it deserves more love

I find it so funny that Marvin is on the villain wiki because like this is just some average weird guy shit that you’ll find in real ass people everywhere you go and everything he does isn’t really villainous or purposefully villainous (except obviously the things he implies/outrightly does on purpose) because it’s more pathetic than anything. Like it’s very easy to just laugh at his pathetic attempts to seem in control when he’s just some internally homophobic guy
i will never forget marvin’s temper tantrum in the falsettos obc chess game bc why are you acting like a madman over CHESS??
I noticed this silly little moment between Marvin and Trina while watching the orchestra view boot of falsettos and it made me smile so I thought I should share it for people who haven't seen it there's not a lot of moments between Marvin and Trina when they are just genuinely being friends so enjoy :3
