This is not the first time he’s been a raging misogynist, but this is definitely what caused me to finally leave his server.
Fake rape accusations are statistically insignificant. The vast majority of perpetrators will not go to jail or prison. The societal consequences for women speaking out against their rapists are devastating, and women are almost never believed. There’s no such thing as a perfect victim, because even a perfect victim, with all the proof in the world, will not be believed.
FFXIV LGBT community, please take out your trash. Stop allowing these sort of individuals to become community leaders and hold positions of power. As a lesbian of color, I’m beyond exhausted by these sort of individuals proliferating and thriving in our community.
I was linked to your Tumblr to read your posts. I respect your one about Gayorzea, but I think if you’re going to “warn” people about me, it’s only fair that I in turn warn people about you.
You were constantly racist towards whites on my server. And no, it is not REVERSE racism. I said it on there before and I will say it here again: I don’t believe in REVERSE racism. It’s just plain and simple racism. If you’re truly against racism you won’t think it’s acceptable in any form regardless of whatever circumstances you think “justify” it.
You cry about misogyny that isn’t there, yet you are a blatant misandrist, constantly putting down men, gay and straight.
When I told everyone that we won’t allow double standards, you had to try to move on to straight people with your “why can’t straight men clean up after themselves?” comment. And when I wouldn’t allow that, you had to leave and make these hit pieces about me.
You love to virtue signal. You love to grandstand. And that is all you are doing.
Show me how I am a misogynist. By saying that apparent victims shouldn’t be believed blindly? That’s not going to cut it. I never even made it about sex or gender. You assumed it to be that way.
I stress in the very image you post how much I wish I didn’t have to reserve doubt in my mind, but how sadly in this world, we need to, because people are shit, and people lie. All I was saying was that it is bullshit that women don’t make stuff up. Some do. Some. That is a fact and you know it. We can’t just throw those accused, male or female in jail at the drop of a hat of an accusation because of this.
And if we play things by your game, statistically most rape accusations are against black men. So if you believe all rape accusations, you’re being racist since you’re believing all those accusations against black men. Look into the innocence project and how many people have been exonerated after having already done time.
You act like justice is NEVER served. “There’s no such thing as a perfect victim, because even a perfect victim, with all the proof in the world, will not be believed.” This is absolutely false. If this were the case, then why has anyone ever been sentenced to jail on rape charges? If victims are never believed no matter how much evidence they have, it would never be served, but it is.
Before I go, Mods For Men doesn’t even claim to be part of the LGBT community, we are our own community that happens to largely LGBT and nothing more. I will not have myself compared to someone of the likes of Lethys and Gayorzea.
I have stressed that I treat everyone equally. Male or female, black or white, gay or straight, it doesn’t affect how I treat anyone because these are completely arbitrary characteristics. I treat people differently only based on their personalities. And if there’s one thing I can’t stand, it is hypocrites.
And you, dear racist, sexist and bigoted Vee, are exactly that.
