2022 unsmoked lapsang was solidly ok. nice feeling afterward but not very notable taste-wise. I took a chance on a YS teapot because they were having a sale and honestly I'm pretty disappointed. the lid doesn't fit nicely, the pour is bad, the color and translucency isn't there, and overall it isn't anywhere close to the quality of my gaiwan that is also dehua porcelain. you can get a much better pot elsewhere for a similar price. incidentally, YS expressly says they do not accept refunds or returns on the basis of the quality of the pot so they are apparently aware of the problem

finals week is here. I've done 3 exams so far which I think I did well on. I have 2 exams left and a final project for a fellowship. I really don't feel like doing one of the exams I have today, it's just so tedious but it's also the only exam I need higher than a 60% on to still have a 4.0
