I'm trying to get my motivation back to study...It's that time of the year when you have zero motivation, but time is passing so fast that your only push is the amount of stuff you've been avoiding all year and need to finish asap!

Those shockingly high âilliteracyâ statistics that go around arenât saying that like 22% of Canadians or 21% of Americans or whatever literally canât read.
Thatâs the number of people at level 1 literacy or below. Level 1 literacy is like grade school level. Able to read labels and straightforward instructions and whatnot.
Which is like. Still higher than the ideal for sure, but itâs not like a fifth of adults literally canât read. Theyâre just kinda bad at it.

I have a new job at a bookshop/cafĂŠ and I woke up too early thinking my shift is at 8:00 o'clock. So instead, I studied Greek until the actual afternoon shift came. The job is okay but it doesn't go well for me there. I think I am just stressed about my trip to amsterdam and I have a lot to learn about the new job too. Also I worked out today after the longest time Cherish your evenings. they are sacred.
Essentials for a good day: a cup of coffee in bed with the cat, journal, and a background tv show.
hey quick PSA but âreading before bed to wind downâ only works if youâre normal about books btw. if you arenât you are going to end up awake at 2:52am after finishing the whole book just trust me on this one

⢠Had plans to seize the day since one of my classes got cancelled. Lowkey flopped.
⢠I took a walk after class and explored this huge park near campus. Thereâs still a bunch of areas I didnât get to so im looking forward to going back.

Can anyone tell me why studying at the dinner table is 100000 times more productive than studying at my desk?

My appendix decided it was giving up last week and now I am so behind on my assignments. Thank god my professors have been super understanding.

the only drawback to john green's TB advocacy is that when people discover i have an encyclopedic knowledge of tuberculosis history and drug development they ask if it's related. need a t-shirt that says "i was into TB before john green made it cool".
