Lila’s plan is still in motion. She knows how smart and paranoid maribug is and used that to her advantage.

She chose to be suspicious on purpose to get Marinette into defence mode to test her defences.

Marinette has plenty of protocols in place in case something were to happen, but you don’t catch someone when their guard is up. You catch them when it’s down.

This is a rash decision on Marinette’s part. I love that the girl is gonna get some proper care from adults who care about her BUT she was so quick to reveal herself.

I am not convinced that room isn’t bugged or one of the parents aren’t actually the parents or something else. Earlier defensive Marinette would have thought about all those things but panicked and confused Marinette didn’t.
