Recently we have been really stressed with the move and distance. We’ve been taking it out on each other. He’s been very patient with my attitude and trying to do more to help me around the house. I’ve been very overwhelmed with a lot of life changes. Our D/s dynamic has been strained to deal with real life. Shit happens.

We are intense people and sometimes we misdirect it at each other when we don’t have an outlet. Because life changes dynamics have to adapt. We have been wrestling with that recently. Stopping and starting. This is real life and it’s always messy. 24/7 doesn’t always comply with parenting, jobs, travel, families, depression, adulting. Give yourself some credit. Give your Dom some slack. He’s been trying to find new ways to Dom me that won’t lead to bratting and raging.

Yesterday he gave me the task to write why i belong to him after a week of making the bed every morning. It was a pleasant reminder of why we love the D/s lifestyle. Little routines and rituals coming back to life in a new way, it’s exciting. The dance of the Dominant and submissive is clumsy at times, but when the choreography and beat match up, it’s beautiful to watch. It’s in the little things.

Daddy always opens my door, always pulls out my chair, helps me with my jacket, walks on the outside. Daddy helps me try on clothes and picks my lipstick. I need to brag for a minute because i don’t say it enough to his face. He always makes me laugh, and slow dances with me in the kitchen. He’s passionate and loves hard. He’s my best friend who protects me at any cost. He’s my everything. So i don’t ever say thank you for being mine @hitman3030… and don’t let it go to . i know I’m not the easiest person to deal with, but I’ve heard the strongest women make the best subs.
