Reconstruction of the clothes of women from the Minoan era in Crete (reconstructions made by Dr. Bernice Jones).

The clothes of Minoan women were surprising with their style and variety of patterns. Greek women of later times wore clothes with completely different stylistic solutions. The exposed breasts were a characteristic feature of the dress of Minoan and Mycenaean women. They attached great importance to their attire, wear and used jewelry. They wore a wide and long skirt with a decorative belt tightening the waist and a tight-fitting bra with a metal frame revealing the breasts. They put on coats or capes on cooler days. Hair, intricately combed, was decorated with brown or gold ribbons, beads or headbands. Others wore appropriate headgear. They wore unusual hats. Some were wide, while others were tall, almost completely covering their hair, decorated with feathers or ribbons.

It can be seen at the Hellenistic Museum in Melbourne, Australia. The reconstructions are based on frescoes.

In all seriousness, I just want to give a big thank you to the Voltron crew and cast for what a wonderful show they have created.I haven’t been so into a show in awhile, and it warms my heart to see other people like it too.I’ve met good friends through this show, seen it’s ups and downs, and watched the community grow.And to be honest, it’s really hard to see my favorite show come to a end.Everyone has been so welcoming (*cough* mostly *cough*) and I appreciate the fandom, who together can all agree that we love this show. Tomorrow, I ask everyone who reads this to put aside our differences, it shouldn’t matter who the best character is or who we ship.This is the end, and we should all be celebrating a wonderful show.

Last Call: Voltron Legendary Defender Season 7

I will be doing a new thing on this blog called ‘’ Last Call’’ for some of my favorite on-going shows where I recap all the information I can recall about the up-coming season.This Last call is for Voltron Legendary Defender, season 7. SPOILERS AHEAD.

What we know: - Voltron is going back to earth.We will finally get to meet Lance’s and Hunk’s family, which will most likely be a very touching reunion. Personal opinion: LET LANCE,HUNK,PIDGE AND SHIRO SEE THEIR FAMILIES!! I’VE BEEN WAITING SINCE SEASON ONE FOR THIS.

- Lance ends up crying at some point. I think it’s when he reunites with his family.But worse case is that someone in his family has died.Or the Time theory (time being slower in space than on earth) and his family is dead.Personal opinion: They better not be dead I swear to god-

-Hunk gets more screen time. This is honestly one of the best things on this list.Hunk deserves it.FINALLY!

-Shiro plays a big part this season. Even though Shiro has been away for a couple of seasons, you know dying and being trapped in the astral plane and all that Jazz. But according to multiple sources, shiro is still very active on the team.I am looking forward to seeing him a lot. I also read that he plays a really big part in the last few episodes. Personal opinion : If Shiro dies this season I honestly won't even be surprised at this point.

-Allura and Lance bond some more. I am really looking forward to this.I love Allura and Lance (Plantonic or not.) and I want to seem them help each other.Allura with her heartbreak with Lotor and Lance with his insecurities.Or maybe we might get a confession of Lance’s feelings?! Who knows, but I know they will help each other a lot.

- There will be very big battles. I am hyped for this.All of the articles mentioned how amazing these battles are, visually and emotionally.With that beautiful animation in season six, I am looking forward to it! Personal opinion: I think one article stated this but they said the last two episodes rival the “Black Paladins” episode. AKA your emotions are flying out the window.

-We are getting multiple character arcs. Even though the paladins have gotten a lot of development over the seasons, there is still more.I am very excited about this.

-Earth is already (kind of?) prepared but IN DANGER. Matt Holt has already made it to earth, and has probably tried to warn earth.But did they listen? I’m not really sure.Even if they are already prepared will it honestly be enough? All I can recall from the articles I linked below is that earth just “wasn’t what it used to be.’’

-We are getting some type of romantic build up. Klance,Sheith,Allurance? Plance,Shance or Punk? The world may never know.But we do know that we are getting some type of relationship here, which will probably be a bit more prevalent then before.It still has to be something sprinkled in majority of the seasons, because it has been stated that usually any relationship between characters it’s most likely going to be slow burn.

-We get some background on Shiro. Hallelujah people! With the big news that Shiro had a ex-boyfriend, we are all probably dying to know his backstory more than ever before. With the flashbacks of Adam and the Garrison, more will probably follow. Personal opinion: I’ve been waiting for some backstory on Shiro because we have such little information on him.

A Summary of Space Dad(dy)

The Voltron storyboard team:  *inhale* So Shiro is going to be a gay asian male, who was engaged to a guy named adam,who called of the engagement because Shiro is going to space and then gets captured by aliens where they amputate his arm and give him a special robot arm, oh and by the way he also has severe PTSD because they made him fight in this area thingy, then he crashes on to earth and gets saved by this boy he practically raised and a cargo pilot who wants to be a pilot and he looks up to you, along with a smart boy who turns out to be a girl and a pure cinnamon bun who can cook and is a great engineer, then they find this blue robotic lion in the middle of who knows where, all get in and fly back to space to meet more robotic lions who everyone will pilot, shiro will be the leader, but oh no after fighting a battle with this evil purple guy named zarkon he disappeared and went into the black lion(?) while in real life he was replaced with a clone of him who later turned on the whole voltron team and almost killed the boy he practically raised, then that boy saves the clone and the special space princess transfers his soul from the black lion to the clone body, but the weird cry pods reject his body and he almost dies again but survives, plot twist he has (or had?) this disease that shortened his life and now he is going back to earth and might run into his ex adam.Did I mention he has a scar on his nose and we are going to make him extra BUFF?
