Initial seasons are just pure gold. 24 carat gold.

The little interactions, dialogues, etch the characters so beautifully, and it is adorable how Reid is their go to library for EVERRYTHING, from Beckett to Yoda.

The major reason Criminal minds' quality plummeted along the seasons is because of how pointlessly they changed the characters, sadly mostly women.

The OG team was basically perfect... Gideon leaving was understandable because Mandy was finding it difficult to continue. Thankfully Rossi integrated fairly well.

Then it's Elle. As much as I loved her, her departure wasn't Outta nowhere and Emily actually worked wonderfully.

But then the way JJ was replaced? By another blonde white woman as if that's all she was!! Not to mention they erased JJ' primary expertise when they brought her back.

Similarly the way Emily was replaced by Alex Blake... No idea why.

The new additions just kept ruining things.

Sometimes you already have perfection, the criminal minds OG team was exactly that.

I'll always find it funny that Targaryen fanatics don't have any qualms supporting Rhaenyra who has bastards but then say blackfyres don't have any claim despite the fact that Daemon was a much better warrior and a person.

It's genuinely ironic that HOtD twisted the entire original story, copied dialogues, storylines, cultural practices from others to show Rhaenyra as the bad bitch who was the rightful queen and still end up giving the most lackluster, unlikeable asoiaf character in the entire universe of tv shows.

Characters who were on screen for 10 minutes were more impactful. Podrick, hotpie, jaquen, Rayman fossoway, tanselle, steelmaster all were much better than the "feeble body" queen.

The other side of Aaron Hotchner. He's quietly the most intimidating person in the room, but also the most empathetic. Here he is, with an unsub, making sure that she is not alone in her final moments, because she does not deserve that. The way he is so protective and gentle with women...

Pleasure is my business is one of the best episodes of CM and the way it portrays the spectrum of Aaron Hotchner regarding women is *BEAUTIFULLY* done.

He is so intimidating, while not raising his voice once. *hot*

Generally Criminal Minds episodes are based around the victims, and crimes but every once in a while there is an episode which resonates more with the team, and its members.

"True Genius" was one such episode for Spencer Reid, for more than one reasons. First, we get a peek into his internal struggles as he tries to come to terms with his life, and the choices he has made. Second, we get a glimpse of his genius, just how intelligent he truly is, as he unravels another two geniuses' masterplan... This episode was a beautiful dedication to his intelligence.

And the last scene was the cherry on the top of a rich decadent fudgy cake.

There's a world beyond life in AKOTSK and it's still like the real world, except there are no material limitations. No lack of resources. No death. You can watch whatever is happening on earth.

When Jon went to that place... He was found by the Starks, lyanna running to him, Ned hugging him and introducing him to his mother, who is awkward now all of a sudden... Catelyn is trying to apologise with half regret... But then Robb comes with Greywind. And Lady. And he feels like home. He also found a random dragon who started following him.

Rhaegar comes to visit them, but Starks don't mingle with them and it is all very awkward.

Robert finds out and he gets mad but Lyanna tells him "your wife was a bigger whore than you and left nothing but her brother's bastards on the throne you sat on"

Robert spits back "bold words from a woman who ran off with a married man with children and brought upon the death of half of her house."

They keep going on and Robb and Jon slip out along with the wolves. They were not dealing with the grown ups bullshit again.

I have seen quite a few posts about how

//ONLY IF DAENERYS HAD SOMEONE LIKE DAEMON TARGARYEN AND NOT JON SNOW// and undoubtedly the HOTD audience is probably the most brain dead audience of all time ( coming very close to breaking bad incels who think Skyler was the villain) but they're so wrong on everything.

1. Dany had her Daemon, viserys. Both of them were power hungry men who used the women Rhaenyra and Daenerys to fulfill their ambition.

2. I know the show is a fanfic BUT Daemon wanted to be the king. The only reason he waited was because he didn't know that viserys would end up making Rhaenyra the heir(something which Otto hightower actually recommended in the books because Daemon was destructive)

3. When that plan failed because viserys named Rhaenyra the heir, he decided to start pursuing another way for the throne, he groomed Rhaenyra. A man in 30s taking a girl in her early teens to a brothel isn't expanding her horizon, it's preparing her for utter control and submission. Hypersexuality is a way to control women.

4. If Rhaenyra wasn't the heir he would have just groomed her slept with her and moved on. And that's where Jon snow comes in.

Jon actually gave up HIS CLAIM for Daenerys. Daemon, if he's the heir, he'd have never ever done this. People forget that Daenerys didn't have the right to the throne, it was Jon snow and he gave that up.

To claim that Daemon loves Rhaenyra is something so ridiculous, and comparing jon in that situation is worse because he actually tried to do everything Daenerys wanted. He actually tried to ignore that she just burnt an entire city of people and made it into a cemetery.

I could say so much more on this but really you can't expect anything from a FD which compares Baelor to Rhaenyra or Daemon to Aragorn.

One thing I truly hate about criminal minds especially after rewatching it, is the blatant pro military pro CIA propaganda it is.

THE AUDACITY OF SPENCER REID

JJ was doing her job by keeping Emily's secret, but this manchild thinks his feelings are more important than someone else's life. The amount of times this man infuriates me in the show... Dude just get another job if you cannot handle it. It's like he makes HIS issues, his inabilities, his problems everyone's issue. Dude it's not about you. JJ wasn't doing anything to hurt you, and believe it or not other people's lives are important, and not that it should matter but it's about the woman who took painful beatings instead of you because she knew that you're not physically capable. Turns out not just physically but emotionally too you're the fragile manchild.

Genuinely it is hilarious how HOTD fandom will compare HOTD characters to any famous, likeable character just to gain some hype. It's the worst characters from all the ASOIAF adaptations, even side characters which had 10 minutes of role in the other shows are better than their main protagonists. And they DO realise it, so they'll compare their clown KWEEN with bastards to Baelor Targaryen, pedo incestuous king daemon to aragorn, rapist clown aegon to Robb and so on and so forth. Just because your favourites are utter losers doesn't mean you'll taint other characters.

Rewatching American crime shows is such an eye opener...

Where they have made cops, FBI, CIA everyone the noble heroes who sacrifice everything, risk their lives but everyone else is a cartoonish villain.

Why and how tf CIA is so glorified in criminal minds while they are shading on IRA? CIA/FBI everyone of them have been serving the paedophilic billionaire class for decades.
