Dear followers,

I wanted to thank everyone who supported this blog. With a count of 541 followers and a still ongoing reblog/like/follow thing, I can see that this event was well accepted and I am grateful for it.

It was a fun thing to participate in. My first time to be a mod for something. I can´t thank athina enough for voicing out this idea and taking me onboard. Her wish to give Chuuya happiness made it all happen.

We got many lovely works. Everyone who participated did well in showing their love for Chuuya. It´s good to see that despite anything happening to our beloved hatrack, he still got his chance for a week full of happiness.

We intended to host a DazaixHappiness Week soon, but seeing that its already about to start on another note, I wanted to give a shout-out to its respective blog. Anyone who wants to participate, please support the event!

announcement

...ah. i thought i had posted this last week, but apparently not? so, my apologies for the delayed post.

i would just like to announce that i'll be stepping down from the mod position of this blog - and therefore, will not be running the future dazai/bsd-happiness week(s). that is not to say that those events will never happen - it's just that i will not be the one running them. (in that note, if anyone does want to do so, please feel free! i'll be more than happy to help promote it using this blog!)

it's a hard decision that took me days to make, but ultimately it's because of the multiple feedback that i had received regarding the previous chuuya x happiness week. there had been a number of concerns that i had been biased in promoting certain works (i.e. my own, as i had participated in it). while it is possible that it was just one person voicing out the same concern multiple times, i would like to respect that opinion and therefore be removing myself from the mod position so that the concern can be laid to rest.

to everyone that had followed this blog, that had participated in its events, that had provided their feedback, that had helped make the chuuya x happiness week possible: thank you so much!!! it was the first time i had organized a fandom event and your support means a lot to me.

+ Poll regarding the next event! as some people have requested other “happiness weeks” for other characters too... so, just a Dazai Happiness Week or a Happiness Week for all the BSD characters (bec lbr they all have pretty sad backstories)

Chuuya x Happiness Week Ft. Soukoku

Ok. So there is this fic that I’ve really wanted to submit for @chuuyaxhappiness2018week …but it’s still sitting in the drafts folder damn it I don’t know when it can get published

So here, I just made a compilation of fics I’ve previously written where the focus was Dazai making Chuuya happy! 

How to Hate Nakahara Chuuya 

- Dazai takes care of Chuuya after the Lovecraft battle (hey what do you mean this didn’t happen in canon??)

The Exception 

- Dazai watches Chuuya sleep, and things start to go up/downhill from there.

“So rest now, Chuuya” 

- Dazai does Chuuya’s hair.

Grow Old with You 

- Dazai serenades Chuuya.

Because apparently, 4 out of 8 fics I have published on ao3 focus on making Chuuya happy. Two was for Dazai, while the other two can be considered a tie.

Now, now, here’s to hoping I can publish the new fic sometime soon!! Teehehehe

chuuya lets aya play with his hair, and she always ends up putting pretty hairclips in some parts of it, and braiding the rest ( he went into work like that once, but no one dared to say anything until he looked at himself in the mirror and did a double take ).

chuuya teaching aya martial arts, and she’s actually really good at fighting!! ( chuuya gets complaints that she’s been fighting in school and he’s torn between being proud and telling her to stop )

chuuya being WEAK to aya’s puppy dog eyes - she pulls them out, and he’s gone, hook, line and sinker.

chuuya tries to get all his work and missions done on weekdays so that he can spend time with his lil sis on the weekends!! he also tries to spend every holiday with her, so that aya won’t be lonely in that big apartment all by herself.

chuuya keeps her away from everyone in the port mafia except kouyou, who dotes on aya as much as she does chuuya, and babysits aya whenever chuuya isn’t free. she always keeps little packets of manjuu in her sleeves for aya, and aya finds her grandma very pretty and very cool!!

chuuya going to all of aya’s school events, no matter how small they are ( also, on a completely unrelated note, please imagine chuuya hot af walking into aya’s school and everyone staring at him as he greets aya and ruffles her hair with a big smile )
