A few years ago, after hearing Blackpink's "Kill This Love" on the radio, i had been meaning to make a strawberry and black sesame-flavoured brownie, but i hadn't figured out how to incorporate the flavours, and i also kept forgetting to make it... until i saw KPop Demon Hunters recently and finally remembered to give it a crack.

Figuring out how to add the flavours was surprisingly simple: a black sesame caramel layer in the middle, and substituting the sugar with the same amount of Strawberry Nesquik, and while the brownie tasted better than what i expected, this experiment showed that i have improvements to make, which i'm looking forward to implementing in the next brownie 🖤🩷

Experimentation: Pistachio Crunch Brownie was a success. Whilst I need add more filling for the next one, the toasted beehoon/rice vermicelli worked fantastically as a gluten-free kataifi substitute ~💚

Whilst I wait for the Able Sisters to open on my island (will they have the long sleeve t-shirt template available, or has the dress shirt replaced it?), I decided to revisit my village in New Leaf to make my favourite item of clothing from Splatoon, the Choco Layered LS.

Prototype for a customised New Nintendo 3DS cover plate set (making a sticker or a decal might’ve been easier, but I found this to be quite fun).

Materials used: - New Nintendo 3DS Cover Plate No.016 (Australia) [No.021 in Japan] - Tamiya Color Acrylic Paint Mini X-24 Clear Yellow and X-27 Clear Red - Sharpie Extra Fine Point Permanent Marker Black - A model knife to etch some finer details.

Tonight, I’ll be joining in celebrating kitsunebaba’s birthday with buriedwings and brienneoftarth. Sian made me a Stephbats hoodie last year (you can see a sleeve in fhe second pic) so I thought I’d try returning the favour. Happy Sian Day! ♥

P.S. base figure was the Babs-Batgirl/03 Pop! Heroes figure, painted with Tamiya X-8 Lemon Yellow & X-16 Purple, Aqueous Hobby Color H-44 Flesh, and some black paint that I bought from a $2 shop.

After hearing that Stephanie Brown will be making her New 52 debut, and inspired in part by this fantastic costume by erinjaegers, I decided to revisit a QR Code that I never quite completed because I had no idea how the straps would look like at the back (this was the only in-comic panel that the costume featured in). And it's already making headways in Delpoi; Chief (who moved in last week) is already wearing it (well, a previous version without the straps). :D

Masquerade Mask version 1.0. Not a bad prototype; I just need to improve the shapes of the gold panels on the sides (especially the right one). The mask was from a $2 shop, and the panels are made from gold chromed card.
