Modern AU fic idea titled “I Want Your Video” where Eddie Munson deals with bullies who harass him, his friends, or his sheepies by seducing them, taking videos of the sex, and blackmailing them into fucking off. So far it has a hundred percent success rate.
Enter Steve Harrington. He’s the most popular guy in school. Girls love him, teachers love him. Eddie doesn’t think about him much at all beyond selling at the parties he throws in his big house (no parents). But Steve has been watching Eddie, curious and eventually knowing once Tommy starts suddenly leaving the freaks and nerds of Hawkins High alone. When it comes to Steve, Tommy has no poker face; they’ve known each other for too long, and vice versa.
“Don’t,” Tommy warns when he catches Steve eyeing Eddie in the hallway. “He’ll only—It’s not worth it, man.”

It’s the cold that wakes you up, sharp like needles against your skin. You aren’t sure how long you’ve been asleep, at least for enough time to disorientate from your current situation. It takes a few moments for your head to catch back up, blinking slowly at your surroundings until it all clicks back into place, still in the cabin, still sick, still no solution.
The sound of the door slamming shut has you jolting in your seat, head snapping toward the noise only for your vision to flash white. A hand presses against your shoulder, holding you steady as Price's voice reaches your ears, “just Soap and Ghost getting back. Don’t move too fast, you’ve been out for a couple hours.”
You manage a small nod, carefully shifting on the couch to face toward where Soap and Ghost are unpacking some bags, squinting your eyes in order to cut out the glare from the overhead light. The captain gives the back of your neck a squeeze before stepping toward the two men, asking for the updates. Their words seem… hazy around the edges, like there’s something stopping the sound from reaching your ears properly. It takes all of your concentration to focus on what is being said, temples throbbing in disapproval.
“There’s a doc in town along with a motel and some basic shops. Managed to find some snow chains we can use on the humvee to get around safely but even so we are stuck here for a couple more days at least. The roads in the town have been cleared of the brunt of the snow now that the storm is subsiding, but the road out is currently blocked from an avalanche down the mountainside, we’ll need to wait till that’s cleared out before we can make a move,” Ghost gestures to a paper laid out on the table you can only assume is a map of the surrounding area.
Price hums before nodding his head toward where you’re sat on the couch, “you talk to the doctor about their symptoms.”
Ghost grunts in affirmation, “says to bring ‘em in asap, won’t be able to offer treatment without a proper assessment”
“Right well…” the captain glances around the room, drumming his fingers lightly on the top of the table before stepping back, “gather what we’ve got and get it in the truck. We’ll head to the doctor first and then see if there’s a suitable space for us at the motel, even with treatment, this shacks no place for a proper recovery.”
Gaz is slipping an arm around your waist before you can fully process the sudden movement, counting down from three before pulling you upright. You groan in discomfort, the pressure in your skull increasing tenfold, your eyes clenching shut instantly. Gaz murmurs a soft apology under his breath before beginning the slow walk toward the door, pausing every few steps when your legs falter.
As soon as he pushes the door open you begin to shiver, an uncontrollable vibration that weaves over your skin. The humvee seems all too far away, surrounded by starch white snow that your body wants to avoid at all costs. Never in your life have you made a noise quite like the one that slipped from your lips at the first step out into the snow. Low and pitiful, almost pained. If you were more alive, maybe you’d feel embarrassed, but the only thing you care about is getting somewhere warm as soon as possible.
The sensation in your feet is like needles, sharp pain that reaches its way up your legs, settling in your thighs, making each step harder and harder. Once you are sat in the vehicle, Gaz is quick to wrap a blanket over you, tucking it tightly around your limbs as one would for a small child. A moment later he is climbing in next to you, double checking that you seem secure before giving the captain a thumbs up through the window as Price, Soap and Ghost continue to load up the last of the gear.
The drive into the town takes a long time, the combination of Soap driving cautiously with the icy roads, as well as the severity of your chattering teeth, make for an uncomfortable ride. A part of you wishes Soap would drive at his normal highspeed, because even if the vehicle skids off the road into a ditch it will at least put an end to your suffering.
You squint out the window as the town comes into view, a small stretch of buildings each blanketing by the white powder. The sight makes your eyes ache, the lights along the street glaring upon the snow in a blinding yellow that burns into your corneas.
Soap finds a park easily, the street almost empty aside from a few cars scattered along it at random locations. Price is the one that opens your car door, helping you out after Gaz unbuckles you from the seat.
Ghost pushes open the door to the nearest building, holding it wide as Price helps you amble inside. Through your squinted eyes you can make out the word ‘Doctor’ painted atop the doorway, stomach flipping at the realisation.
Soap and Price sit you down in one of the waiting room chairs while Gaz and Ghost go to talk to the receptionist sat behind the large desk, talking quietly with the occasional gesture in your direction.
It seems only a few minutes later that, what you assume is the doctor, steps out of one of the offices attached to the waiting room and calls your name. Everything seems to hit you at once, the reality that you’ll have to explain what it is you are to some random stranger and hope it doesn’t result in your demise.
When Price and Soap attempt to guide you toward the room, intention clear that the team plans to join the appointment, your face is balking instantly. You start to shake their grips off, throat tightening.
“No I- I’ll talk to the doctor alone,” you attempt to step toward the doorway, only to have your knees buckle under you when the world flips on its head.
Price sighs in annoyance as he steadies you, “you can barely stand upright and you’re running a fever, it’s likely you are going to miss information or be unable to explain the situation properly. And if this is something contagious, we need to know immediately to get the rest of us tested; if the entire team got ill-”
“It’s not-” you cut him off, swallowing hard as spit begins to pool in your mouth rapidly, “not contagious.”
“Last I checked, you aren’t a doctor kid,” he attempts to lead you toward the assessment room, but with the little strength you have left, you dig your heels into the carpeted floor.
Price, fixes you with a sharp glare, opening his mouth to lecture you about making things harder than necessary, but you speak before he can, “I can’t have the team in there.”
He seems to ponder your request, eyes flicking back and forth between your own before letting out a slow huff through his nose, “... you aren’t going in alone, but I’ll compromise and let you pick who goes in with you if it makes you happier.”
You know that is the best offer you will get, and at this point you are out of other options. Now to decide, out of all of your team, who do you trust won’t kill you on the spot?
