So about that Yuri au...

What if I told y'all I'm still technically doing it. I know shocker! Oh but here's the thing...

It's no longer a Miraculous AU

Well, who said when making an original story that I have to scrap the AU it's based on? Exactly.

So basically MLB Yuri AU is on hiatus as a MLB AU (NOT quitting it since I still love this idea)

You may be asking, "But Kate, what's happening to the story now?" And to that I have an announcement to make.

I'm making it original now!

The Title is Designed by Destiny and it still follows Mari and Adrienne. (Mira is now Mariko and I kept Adrienne's name just because.)

Basically it's about how both girls end up attending a prestigious art and design university during the day and fight evil as two kitty themed warriors at night. Sound familiar? Don't think too much about it! (Pretty cure was a huge inspo for these designs and you can tell)

So I'm still figuring out the main story parts I guess, but I have made their hero forms in Gacha so here they are!

Cat Black and Kitty White.

They have kwamis still (more like precure fairies, told you they played a big role in this story lol.) And they each have a Cats pact! (Working title)

I have a few sketches of their compacts and transformation items (rings, they're both rings.) Already and I have started to write this version of the story so uh yeah I'll use a different tag for all posts past this that aren't MLB related.

Reblog if you do NOT want the new Tumblr update

Apparently, from what I hear people say, in the new Tumblr update, if someone reblogs your post and adds a comment of their own, that reblog is counted as a new post and it belongs to the reblogger. Not you. You, as the OP, do not get the notifications if someone else later reblogs from the person who reblogged your post with their own comment. You can’t see what comments people leave on the reblogs of the post you originally made unless they reblogged directly from you.

If this is actually true, it will just open doors for harassment. And also it takes the credits away from the OPs. Tumblr’s etiquette has always been “reblog don’t repost”. So this new update, if true, contradicts the whole core values of Tumblr as a community.

Respectfully, we don’t want this @staff @support @tumblr @changes please listen to your users.

I’d also like to clarify that this is what I hear from what a lot of people are saying, and it bothers me. But if I got anything wrong, I do apologize.

I think I'm gonna post the first MLB yuri AU chapter on my main blog and I'll just reblog it here in case people miss it somehow. On this blog, I post all my TBD (to be determined) and unfinished stuff to do with the AU. Like character designs that eventually become outdated, or plot points I was gonna touch up on but either changed my mind or had a totally different idea from how it started. Basically unless it's posted to the main blog, consider everything here subject to change. :)

Updated Ladybug and The Black Cat GL2 Designs!

Can't forget Ladynoire and Scarletbug redesigns as well...

Plus, I decided to make 2 other designs as well... (technically 4)

Shadybug and Black Claw! I wanted to change them from my AU designs and also make them unique so you know it's an AU of an AU...which is also an AU. (Confusing ik)

I also made redeemed designs without BUTCHERING their unique look! (Unlike canon...)

You can form your own opinion on which designs are better for them, but I'm personally pretty happy with how they turned out.
